A Prediction to hear...

The day before..

Damien's POV 

As I returned from my last hunt I saw my dad waiting on the front porch and he had a strange look on his face which I couldn't decipher.' Well something is fishy' announced Grey in my head 'yeah I haven't seen dad like that since high school when he caught us getting wasted at that jock's place -what was that guy's name again....' I said to him. ' does it matter? We seem to be in trouble and we cant even remember what we did wrong' grey scolded. As I reached the porch, I changed from my wolf form and put on a pair of track pants and faced my father." Damien.... Sierra has made another prediction." My dad's mysterious tone caused my heart to sink. Sierra was our pack witch and till now never have I for once seen her make a wrong prediction." Dad, whatever it is tell me I can take it." As I awaited for his reply looking intently at him my dad burst out into a laughter so loud that I was sure he was heard even on the far end of the estate. Soon his laughter died out seeing my confused face, he collected himself before speaking and said " Son, Sierra predicted that you will find your mate 1 day before the coming full moon. And that your mate will be the most blessed child of the moon goddess." He than came forward and wrapped me in a huge bear hug. Anyone could see how happy and excited he was about me finding my mate. All the while my mind was too shocked and surprised by the new information I was bombarded with." I was gonna find my mate." it was only the thought running on my mind in circles." WE are gonna find OUR MATE!!!!!" said my wolf butting in and letting his joy be known. I was wonderstruck that I was lucky enough to find my fated mate and she would be a blessed child of the moon goddess. And the next full moon was on the day after tomorrow.I thanked the moon goddess  over and over again in my heart for my luck. 

Most werewolves nowadays don't all have the luck to find their fated mates so they usually settled down with someone they love without the mate bond. In our pack the last one lucky enough to find his mate was my great grandfather, Alpha Roland. His love story was my favorite growing up, it was all about how he went into the most dangerous places to rescue his mate who was a human kidn*pped and being sold to other creatures as a slave. When they were finally united and happy he was stabbed by a sabre coated with vampire venom. His mate, Luna lily used blood drawn directly from her heart to save him this gesture of love moved the Moon goddess soo much that she revived the Luna to health and returned her to the Alpha. I always dreamed of finding my mate and spending all my life with her but I never imagined that I would be lucky enough to have my dream come true.

Later that evening while the festivities were being carried out in the back yard, my beta came to me informing me about all the scheduled meeting of the next day. Out of all the meetings the one that I dreaded was the meeting with the vampire CEO of the HACK n CODE. He always had a way with words that can manipulate your mind, that's how I ended up as the second largest shareholder of their company. Not that I regret the decision cuz we have had a steady incline in income from our shares but I hate that I was manipulated. So I knew I had to be prepared for any other trick he might pull on me, I asked my beta to prepare the best team of advisers and consultants to assist me when I attend that particular meeting. 

After dinner, I went to sleep thinking about all the possible ways I might meet her and how magical it was all going to be when she becomes my Luna. Soon before I knew I was pulled into a dreamless slumber. The next morning I was woken up by twilight dancing on my eyes which snuck in through a small opening between the curtains. As I woke up I noticed a small pup trying to sneak into my room making me chuckle at the cute sight present before me. I got up from my bed and scoped up the black pup into my arms to shower him with kisses. " Gloss!!! Unkle Damin, thu kno I hathe ith ben thu kiss e dike dat." ( Gross!!! Uncle Damien, you know I hate it when u kiss me like that.) Said my 5 year old nephew after changing back to his human form and struggling to escape my hug. " Well what can I do your too cute to let you leave without your punishment for sneaking in on the Alpha" I said beaming at him in pure happiness. He was my sister's son, Luca . After his father died my sister returned to our pack as she didn't want to live in the place which reminded her of her husband's death. Luca has been the apple of my eye ever since I laid my eyes upon him. Well actually he was the apple of everyone's eye in the pack cuz no matter what he does he always gets away with everything, sometimes even things my sister and I haven't been able to escape with.

I enter the bathroom after setting Luca free  and complete my morning routine. After my cold morning shower I felt rejuvenated and ready for another day of work at the family business. I wanted to grab a quick breakfast  befor I left so I made my way towards the kitchen where I was greeted my mom who was making her special sunnyside up egg and bacon strips for the pack with my sister to aid her. " Goodmorning sweetie."greeted mom while my sister said " gud morning lil bro. Arnt you looking cute today."with a smirk plastered on her face. " gud morning mom! Are we having bacon for breakfast today" I said completely trying to ignore my sister which caused her to throw a dish cloth towards me which I dodged cuz of my flash reflexes. I grabbed a plate from the kitchen counter with eggs and bacon to eat and sat down at the dining table. Before I could complete my special breakfast my beta interrupted me and informed me that there has been a change in the schedule of a few meetings and urged that I was to attend a meeting with the research and development team in 30 minutes.  With this I stuffed the leftover bacon in my mouth and set out to my office brimming with anticipation.
