Serena: By the time Helena stepped into the classroom, I was already tired of hearing people talk about Alexander. Not because I wasn’t thinking about him myself. Well, mostly I did but I wasn’t going to say that out loud. Because his words from last night kept playing in my mind throughout most of the day, and Helena’s lesson played through the other half of the day. I sat by the window, pretending to pay attention while the instructor explained formal dinner protocol.
