"Don't worry," Yllana said, as we sat in the dressing room. "I'll help you." This time I (or rather Mrs. Novak) hired a professional hairdresser and a professional makeup artist, and I was sitting in a chair as my hair was being carefully put in a complicated hairdo. Just the number of hairpins that was going into it… How was I going to take it off? I looked great, for sure.
