Edward

I could hear the beep of the monitors and muffled voices, I had to focus hard to be able to understand what they were saying. I heard them say the Luna is finally stable let the Alpha know. I tried to move, but my body refused, I tried to open my eyes and it was the same thing my body and eyelids felt like lead. I tried to speak to ask what was going on, but all I was able to manage was a groan. I felt a hand grab mine but there were no sparks, so I knew it wasn’t Noah. “Hey Luna, it’s ok Noah is on his way just rest you have been through a lot.” I didn’t know who it was, so I tried to reach out in our link but even there I felt a block, fed up I pushed through and opened my eyes. That’s when I heard everyone gasp and I saw the doctor’s eyes glaze over.   Hearing my angel was awake I couldn’t get back to her fast enough, especially hearing something was wrong with her eyes. And just hearing from Elizabeth that she is transitioning made me worry even more. If anything happened to my angel I would end everyone of them. Which shouldn’t be too hard Elizabeth said he would be coming for her and my angel and we would be ready. The closer I got to the clinic the bigger the crowd was formed around it, everyone must have heard their Luna was awake. “Everyone there may be a threat coming this way to take our Luna away from us along with our prisoner downstairs in the cells. I want everyone on high alert and want everyone to start to double their training, we protect her at all cost. Is that understood?” I yelled. Everyone responded with “Yes Alpha.” After that many parted ways to start training while others stayed to help guard the clinic. Once I was in the door I could hear Nevaeh flipping out. I growled walking through the halls to the Alphas wing, why is she in distress. I slammed the door to her room open to see that they had her restrained to the bed, and she was struggling to get free. When she turned to look at me she started to calm down but her beautiful hazel doe eyes had changed. Now there was a slight red ring around them. “Angel you need to calm down. If you calm down I will undo the restraints, they put them on, so you don’t hurt anyone including yourself.” I said calmly as I walked over to her. She started to calm down, but I could tell she wasn’t comfortable. The last time she was stuck in the clinic Artemis couldn’t stand being inside for so long and she has also always loved to be outdoors even though she had a place to call home fours walls suffocated her she spent as much time outside that she could. I quickly undid the restraints and picked her up. She clung on to me inhaling my scent to help calm herself down. “Somethings wrong with me” she whined. “I know baby let’s get you outside, so you can calm down and I’ll explain what’s going on” I replied. Nevaeh nodded her head, once outside I could feel her body relax. We went and sat over by her old makeshift waterfall. After I was done explaining what was happening to her she started to cry. Worried she tried to reach out to Artemis and wasn’t able to I asked Alastor to try. He linked me back that they were still together, but she was weak from fighting the venom, but she would pull through that this is part of their destiny. Nevaeh cried in my arms for a while and then just abruptly stopped and pulled away and took off. She started to run into the woods and ignored my calls for her to come back. I ran after her and could see that she had shifted since her clothes were shredded on the forest floor. I followed her scent and found her stalking something on our land. I wasn’t able to see anything and at first, I couldn’t smell anything, until the wind shifted. Everyone, this is not a drill, those that can’t fight get to the safehouses now!! Warriors and those able to fight I need you just east of the waterfall. We have a Vampire problem. I growled in our pack link. I could hear the alarm sound for those who didn’t have their wolves, so they knew they need to go to the safehouse along with the sound of thundering paws of the pack coming to defend our home. I kept my eyes on my mate with Edward's venom in her, I can't be sure whose side she’s on. Since his venom will be like a drug to her I just hope she is strong enough to fight it. Something was on our land I could feel it, but I wasn’t sure what. I could just tell something had crossed over the boarder of our land. I took off and left Noah to see what could have passed patrols, just because I was sick didn’t mean I didn’t want my pack safe. I could feel Noah in our bond as I was closing onto the disturbance, so I stopped and waited for him to catch up. I guess Artemis eyes had changed as well because when I turned to look at Noah to warn him to wait  he gasped. Noah they are coming. Its ok I have already mind linked everyone our people are safe, and there is help on the way if needed. “Well well well what do we have here? This is the wolf I need boy’s, it’s the ones from their legends so must be a female and she’s strong” came a voice. My head snapped to the direction it was coming from to see Edward. I wanted to kill him right here and now. But his venom was in me and I wasn’t sure if I would die right along with him. If that was my fate fine, I'm ok with it but I know there is a war coming and I have to be alive for it. He saw my eyes and smiled like he had just won the lottery. “I see you have been keeping secrets from me. Come my pet we are going to get Elizabeth and then go to your new home” Edward beamed. Did he really just call me pet and why do I feel a need to listen to him? I need to go about this wisely if he thinks I'm in a drug haze from his blood like the others I can get close to him and attack. But no one is going to allow him to get Elizabeth, and us walk away. And if he ordered me to attack my pack that wasn’t happening. “You are to listen when I speak to you. Now get over here” he yelled pointing to the spot beside him. The pull was even stronger but my anger was building as well. I never like to be commanded by anyone, Alpha had gave up since it never worked on me. But damn is this how the rest of the pack felt when he did it. Ok stop talking to yourself it’s now or never. I looked back at Noah and gave him my best wolf grin before acting like his good little pet. He looked like a child with a new toy as I walked towards him, which I was in some warped way in his mind. I was his new top dog for his dog fights. “I see we still have some spirit to break in you. But that’s ok I have the perfect way we will put you in the mill first, that way I can have a little hybrid heir. Bring her to the car while we get my love and then we will be heading home” He smirked. As his minion went to grab me by the scruff of my fur and bring me to their awaiting car something in me snapped. Before he could get ahold of me, I ripped his hand off and spit in to the ground, he scream out in agony. Edward was so mad and started to whine like a child. I knew this was not going to end well so I quickly finished the man off that was trying to take me away like a good little soldier. “Get her! Don’t let her get away, or every single one of you will be sorry!” Edward stomped his foot screaming. “With that look in her eyes, either way it will be our heads. She’s lost control and is out for blood.” Someone mumbled. “Who said that?” Edward snarled. The man was not wrong I was out for blood; these men came to my home and threated my family and that did not set well with me or the new me I could tell I was turning into. My anger was soaring as they all started to run around trying to catch their masters new prized possession. I slowly ripped through them if they wanted to come at me it would be the last thing they ever did, I could hear Edward still screaming like a banshee, but the words never fully made it to my ears. It was like I was unstoppable now that his venom coursed through my veins. Every vampire that came towards me was dropped without much effort or energy didn’t matter their age or strength. Eventually they just stopped coming at me, and that is when the vampire king’s cry’s finally made it to my ears. “This is not how it was supposed to go, your supposed to do as I say! How are you able to fight against my command? Maybe you just need a little more to bend to my will and be a good little pet.” He smirked showing his fangs. Noah jumped in between us in his wolf form which only made matters worse. There was a sparkle in Edwards eyes; he had just set eyes on his new prize. “Well, my pet looks like I owe king Matthew. As soon I shall have the two rarest wolves in existence. Everyone speaks of you, my little pet being the golden wolf and the one destined to save them but no one really speaks of the silver wolf as it pains them to speak of the first wolves bloodline as they have thought it to have died out. You two will give me champions.” He smiled triumph at us. We both growled and started to stalk towards Edward. He was all that was left, his men were either dead or took off hoping to save their lives. The pack came into the clearing and when they saw me, they turned their attention away from him which was just what he needed to slip away. I growled and took off after him putting up a block in my mind he wasn’t going to win this time and I knew they would try to stop me.
