Trouble

Does the moon goddess hate me or something? I was born with people wanting me dead or forced to be their mate, my parents were killed, and now I’m mated to my biggest bully. I know he started to be nicer over the years but he still made it where no one would ever talk to me besides Nova. Artemis won’t talk to me for wanting nothing to do with him, and she knows the things that he’s done. Stupid mate bond making her love sick over that jerk. 

I haven’t left the cave or shifted back yet, but I know it’s time. I grab my dress in my mouth and exit the cave. I shift back and dress, I feel like walking and taking my time to get back. I can hear someone following, it’s not the scent of a rogue so I know I’m not in danger.

“Hello beautiful” comes a voice hidden behind the trees.

“If you know what’s good for you, you’ll leave me alone. I’m not in the mood.” I growl.

“Someone as small and beautiful as you shouldn’t be walking alone in the woods. It’s dangerous, what if a rogue came after you?” He states ignoring my comment.

“Wouldn’t be the first time I fought one in these woods. I’m not some fragile she-wolf, and don’t appreciate being treated as such. So as I said before, leave.” I growled louder, growing more impatient.

“Not until I see your wolf” he hissed.

Then I was surrounded by wolves, all slowly closing in on me, I smirked. He really thinks I’m going to be intimidated. I continue to walk towards the gray and white wolf blocking my path home. My eyes flash their ice blue to show Artemis is on the surface, but we won’t fully shift. It’s not safe. There is a reason they want to see my wolf and it can’t be good. Before a fight can break out, some of my pack warriors surround them and they allow me to pass. My uncle is amongst them and I can tell I’m not getting out of this one.

“Sorry boys maybe another time” I smirk.

Once we are back home I try to head up to my room to shower before I’m lectured. I’m not that lucky as soon as I make it to our floor there is an angry Alpha waiting for me.

“My office now” alpha Michael bellows.

I turn around and head up one more flight of stairs and head to his office. I am so dead if not I’m going to be kicked out. I attacked the alphas daughter and pretty much rejected his son. I try to prepare myself for what’s to come, but what I saw next I didn’t expect. When I entered alpha Michael’s office the twins were there waiting for us. I spun around on my heels to smack right into alphas chest. 

“Sit” he points to the chair closest to Noah.

“I'd rather stand, thank you” I replied.

“I wasn’t asking, sit” he demands as he pulls me over to the chair.

I could feel Noah staring at me but I still refused to look at him. I felt like that scared little girl when I first came here staring down at my hands. Alpha was pissed about my actions, and I need to set everything straight.

“Your son our future alpha bullied me most of my childhood. He only stopped because of Nova, she became my friend so he stopped when she was around. I was always told I was a rogue and not to get comfortable, so no I will not look at him or accept him. And your daughter betrayed our friendship and bond when she tried to command me to shift, and she chose to fight versus leave me alone.” I gritted through my teeth.

I didn’t care if I cut him off; this was their pack, their family I was never welcomed here. I got up to walk away and pack some things to leave. Nova started to cry and I could see Noah shaking. When the Alpha demanded me to stay Artemis snapped she stated no one commands her. I screamed as she forced me to shift before she pushed me back and took full control, she completely blocked me. I had no clue what was happening.

I was alone in the dark, and then I could feel sparks. Soon I was able to hear the most angelic voice singing. When I opened my eyes I was naked in Noah’s arms alone, Alphas office was destroyed. Artemis what did you do I mindlinked, she wouldn’t answer me. I made the mistake of looking up into his enchanting green eyes.

“Mate” we both whisper.

When his gaze drops, I remember I’m naked and try to cover myself. He tried to stop me and I growled and smacked him across the face as I got up and grabbed a blanket to cover myself. As I turned back to ask him what happened he’s right up against me, his eyes black as night. He grabs the blanket and attempts to remove it.

“Back off” I snarl as I smack his hand away.

“You are MINE and shouldn’t hide yourself from me, every inch of you is beautiful” he smiles.

“Down wolf boy, it’s not happening. Now tell me what did Artemis do, how bad was it?” I ask as my gaze drops to the floor.

He tells me she attacked his father, and he’s hurt pretty bad. Nova took him to the pack clinic for his wounds to be treated. And most of what is broken happened trying to calm her down. As if I wasn’t in enough trouble with what I did to his kids, she had to put the nail in the coffin and attack him.

I turn and walk away saying nothing. As soon as I open the door there are warriors waiting for me. I look back at Noah, and then back at James. They escorted me to my room so I could get some clothes and then took me down to the basement to the cells.
