Nathan opened his eyes disturbed by the ray of light that flashed into the room and checked the time,
Six thirty...
He realized he has not only slept with a woman which seems impossible but only slept peacefully through the night without taking drugs to fall asleep, he glanced at Valentino who is sleeping quietly beside him and the memories of last night came rushing back at him
He remembered her moans in his ear and the way she cling onto him begging him for more and smiled, he move the duvet away from his body and cover her body fully then get out of the bath to freshen up
Nathan came out of the bathroom and picked up their clothes from the floor then arrange the room quietly before picking another clean clothes for her to change into and put a call through to Henri.
"Good morning Master" Henri greeted with the phone to his ear.
"I told you to stop coming to the house unless I call you" Nathan said and wall to the fridge to get some water but Henri beat him to it
"You already called me anyways, I only got here faster" Henri replied placing the cup of water in front of him and sat next to him staring.
"What's that look?" Nathan questioned taking the water
"Did you sleep with her?" Henri blurted
Nathan slipped the water in his hand hearing his question and dropped the cup on the table while trying to kill the mess
"Mind your business" He said crossing his legs and wonder if it's so obvious that Henri will guess from a single look
"You definitely slept with her, your checks have turned red" he teased further and stood up
"What rubbish are you saying?" Nathan questioned more flustered and touched his cheek to confirm if they are really red.
"Prepare some steak, I will have it as breakfast" Nathan said as Henri placed some sliced apple in front of him
"Also prepare some pasta, Valentino loves it" he added grinning at the thought of her
"Master is done for" Henri murmured as he made his way into kitchen.
Not only is his master smitten by Valentino but now he has begun to take note of the things she likes and is slowly falling in love with her.
"Mmm"Nathan hummed to himself feeling relaxed.
He is already twenty nine and hasn't been able to touch a woman including his chosen mate, Doris but now he finally found the one who he is destined to be with.
"Get me some new clothes when you go out today, I have worn the ones Jonas bought the last time" Nathan instructed when Henri returned to the living room
"Are you taking me as a servant now? I am your protector not some kind of chef" Henri complained
"Then get me a servant to do these things, I need the clothes quickly" Nathan responded not bothered with his dissatisfaction
"Have you gotten so soon what happened last night? You are not even asking me anything about it" Henri said taking a seat beside him with the apron on.
"The shifter" Nathan muttered remembering the other incident and immediately asked him about it.
"I ran after him yesterday but ran into another shifter who is more powerful, the two escaped" Henri explained.
"Someone powerful?"
"Find out if the person is linked to our pack and get back to me" he said and Henri nodded then returned to the kitchen to continue cooking
"Are you looking for someone?" Valentino asked appearing behind him
"You are awake" Nathan greeted beaming with smiles and wave at her then realize how childish he sounded.
"Yes, I think something happened last night but I can't remember it" she said taking a seat
"What do you mean you can't remember?" Nathan queried and take a seat beside her, he held her hands in his and stare at her but she stare back strangely making him feel nervous
"You really don't remember anything last night?" He asked again and she nodded
"Did I do anything strange last night?" She asked him and his hands dropped.
"Until when did you remember the affairs of last night?" He questioned wondering if she has forgotten everything about the kidnap too.
"I remember getting home and falling down just by the door, I thought I saw a faint picture of someone and then..." She stopped not remembering anything else after that.
Could it be that her transformation to a werewolf made her forget everything that has happened? Nathan wondered.
"How come I am here? I clearly went home last night" Valentino asked.
"You must have dreamed about it, Henri took you to my place last night and you slept off before I returned" Nathan lied not wanting to upset her but revealing what actually happened but feels upset at the same time that she doesn't remember anything about their affair last night too
"Breakfast is ready" Henri called from the dinning room and they stood up to join him.

"Why are you in the woods last night?" Sabina, Thomas's mother asked while his father looked at angrily ready to bounce on him.
If he had not find out early from one of his friends then he would have lost his son yesterday.
"I didn't know she has such string backing, I just wanted to teach her a lesson for upsetting Irene" Thomas answered his mother also shocked to see a protector out in the wood last night.
"Honey, why don't you forgive him once? I am sure he was just being playful with her" Sabina said trying to protect him
"You think I want to drag this matter for long, do you know who you have provoked with your stupid act last night" his father yelled hitting him
"Honey, please don't hit him. After all he is our only son" Sabina begged
"And that is the reason why you have spoilt him to this day, what explanation do you want to give to the alpha after today?"
"The alpha?" Thomas said shocked, of all people that would stumble upon him last night he had to run into the alpha.
"I thought the alpha is at the pack, how come he is here in country B?" Sabina questioned
"I don't know but I am afraid it is not that simple, if the alpha really decide to make things difficult for us then I am afraid we will not be able to stay in country B anymore" his father said and turned to Thomas
"You will go with me to apologize to the alpha tomorrow morning and this will be the last time I will see you around Irene " he said and left the room angrily.
