The young girl stopped in front of a mansion's gate; Coleman's mansion. She breathed heavily before pushing the doorbell. A young man dressed like a woman came out of the house hurrying to open the gate. "Ma'am Jasmine!! You came home late, you'd get scolded again" the man said before looking at Alex. "Hey!! Who are you and what did you do to my youngest mistress?" The man yelled at Alex. "Grachia!! Stop that " Jasmine said. "The man isn't at fault here, " she added. "And what's the noise all about?" An elderly woman, richly dressed said as she came out of the mansion with an elderly man. "You're finally home, Jas," the man said. "Dad, I can explain," Jasmine said "You brought a man home?" The elderly woman shouted. "Madame Margaret!!, I can explain myself" Jasmine shouted back. "Shut up!! How dare you shout at your mother because of a man" Jasmine's dad said. "You little witch!" Margaret launched at Jasmine. "What's going on here?" A young handsome man walked out of the mansion with a young lady about Jasmine's age. "Damn it! My new savior has a chaotic life!!" Alex whispered to himself. "Huh? He's a handsome one" the young lady said. "Is he your boyfriend, Jasmine ?" She added. "He's a stranger I helped, " Jasmine replied. "I see!! So the hot stranger is single" the lady said. "Stop that, Kourtney!!" Margaret shouted at her daughter. "It's obvious you're not welcome here, stranger. You should leave " the young man said to Alex. "Julian???" Jasmine said, looking at the man facing Alex. Alex looked at each one of them, he was trying to picture what relationship the family had with each other till his eyes saw a bicycle in a corner. The bicycle felt familiar, he had seen it somewhere. "I said leave!!!" Julian yelled as he grabbed Alex by the collar and threw him to the ground. "No...." Jasmine shouted as she was about to run to Alex but was held back by Kourtney. "Go inside now, Jas!!" Margaret ordered. "You should listen to your mom, Jasmine" "I can't believe you'd side them over me, Dad!!" Jasmine said with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry," she said to Alex before running into the house. "See the stranger off, Julian" Margaret said as she walked into the house. "Bye handsome" Kourtney winked at him as she threw him a kiss before swinging her hips as she walked away. "I'm Mr. Bradley Coleman by the way, stranger" the owner of this mansion and the father to the three kids you just saw. "Stay away from my house!" He hissed before leaving. "I'm sorry sir but you should leave already, ma'am Jasmine would get into bigger trouble tonight," Grachia said to him. Alex felt bad for Jasmine. She only wanted to help but she was the one who needed more help. He slowly walked outside and he pictured her face one last time before walking out. "Wait there!!" Alex heard a male voice and he turned around to see who stopped him. It was Julian. "Stay the hell away from Jasmine" Julian warned. "Why??" Alex asked. "Because she's mine!" Julian said. "Only I have the right to her" he smirked. Alex folded his wrist in anger, he wanted to hit Julian in the face but he had no reason to. He wondered why he was pissed when Julian spoke like he owned Jasmine. "Since you understand me, you should leave" Julian spat as he walked back into the mansion's gate. "You all would regret this" Alex swore as he turned around to leave. He stopped after taking some steps and he remembered Jasmine's teary eyes. "Alex! Get a grip!! She'd be fine" he said to himself. "Why am I even bothered about her, she's just a stranger". He finally turned around and walked out of the estate. "Damn it! Where do I go from here?" He said, slamming his hands on his head repeatedly. **The Coleman's mansion "We should teach Jasmine a lesson," Margaret said to Bradley. "Maggie, you should let her be for now" he answered her. "No, she's beginning to grow strong, we should break her before she gets the courage to find out about her inheritance, " Margaret said. " Let me handle her, Brad " Margaret barged into Jasmine's room without knocking. "You should always knock before entering someone else's room," Jasmine said angrily. "How dare you!!" Margaret shouted as she slapped Jasmine hard in the face. "You should be happy I let you stay in my home, witch! You are not allowed to bring in any stranger else you'd be thrown back to where you came from" she said grinning evilly. "You want to send me back to the asylum?" Jasmine said with shock in her eyes. "You made me look mad, you told people I was mad when I wasn't!" Jasmine shouted as tears gently flowed from her eyes. "If I could send you to an asylum, I can also send you to your grave baby girl, don't push your luck" Margaret threatened Jasmine before slamming the door as she left the room. Jasmine sat on the ground hugging her knees, sobbing loudly. "Mom! Are you still here?" "Come and take me away, I'm tired," she said crying in pain. She saw the lights in the house turn off. "They're going to bed when I'm here in pain " she muttered. She looked at the clock, it was eleven pm. She stood up, faced the mirror, and pulled down the long robe she wore a bit. She ran her fingers against the tattoo she had on her left chest; Jasly. It was the combination of her and her mom's name, she had that tattoo since she was a baby. Lily Garcia; her mother also had the same tattoo. The tattoo was like a link Jasmine could use to feel her mother's presence. After a while of caressing her tattoo, she looked out the window, and without thinking twice, she jumped down from it and walked towards her bicycle as she got on it. She saw Rex; her pet dog and she came down to stroke it. "Hush there Rex, don't bark okay?" "I'd come home soon," She said as she speedily drove towards the gate and gently opened it before zooming off. The cold night breeze made her shiver and she wished she had worn a more decent cloth than her night robe. But she wasn't in the right state of mind to think about her clothes. She looked at the mansion again before driving away.
