I hurriedly opened my sketch pad, trying my best to contain my laugh, and flipped each page and didn’t quite remember which page it was and then I landed on the right one.
I looked up to see them both with hopeful eyes, so I blinked my eyes a few times to calm myself from laughing.
“I got it. You ready?” they both nodded in unison and waited eagerly like a child waiting for a generous person on the streets to give them a spare penny. I slowly turned the sketch pad to face both of them with a look of excitement.
“Ta-da!” I smiled cheerfully while they all looked puzzled.
“This is not us?” Jon did the huffing while Jay nodded as a sign of approval. I looked at my drawing and back at them and then back at my drawing. It’s Oggy, the blue cat and Tom, the green cat from the Oggy and the Cockroaches smiling. I made them a new hairstyle similar to the twins to make them more realistic. I furred my eyebrows, pretending to be all innocent and stared at them.
“This is it”, they looked at me hopelessly and took the sketchpad and flipped on all over to look at the pages.
“I told you those guys were you too.”
“Do we look like cats to you?” I nodded without waiting a second.
“Except that you kind of cat that goes every day to visit the salon with the hair you’ve got.”
“Look, I got the hairstyle”, Jay sat straight and wiggled his lousy shoulders a bit.
