“You should go now, I bet your father’s waiting for you”, she looked at herself in the mirror of the comfort room and fixed her hair for a minute. Feeling satisfied enough, she nodded and exhaled to calm herself and started walking, but took a pause when she reached the door.
“Uhm, t-thanks by the way, that was cool”, she said, smiling and did not wait for my reply to left the restroom.
I was cool?
I’m all boiling though?
“What’s up?” Well, I don’t really understand why Jon needs to come to me when he could just all wait for me at the cafeteria.
“Are you okay? What happened?” I furred my eyebrows thinking he was nuts.
“Of course I’m okay. What’s into you?”, I walked to the beverage machine and plucked a coin inside.
“Someone told me you punched someone and kicked”, I chuckled and walked around the machine to look for a drink. I need something cold to cool down my head.
“Was it someone? I thought it was a kitten. Did not able to lift a fist”, I said and simultaneously pressed a soda. Only hearing details about that maniac makes me cringe and angry at the same time.
What did he even say?
Whether he what? Kiss an infant or kiss a toddler?
He even got brains inside?
“Who?”, I stood straight from grabbing the can below the machine.
“What?”
“Whose do not got brains inside?”, I looked around and stared at him amazed.
“Can you read my mind?” he stared at me lamely and pinched my cheeks.
“He even got brains inside? You said it loud enough for me to hear?”, I looked at him, not believing him. This is always how a hero commonly washes the doubt away from people when they start to notice their powers. They’ll let the other people think they were imagining things or hearing things and do everything they could think of at the moment to make us at fault.
“I’m serious here, you said it out loud”, I still stared at him all in doubt but shrugged it off after some seconds and opened the soda, drinking it to empty in one gulp.
“So? What happened?”, I just nodded like I'd given up people who just live their lives to be assholes in this world as I stepped my foot on the trash can opener and threw the empty can in it, causing a clanking sound.
“Someone forces someone to make out with him in the locker. So I just kicked him in the balls to reduce his s****l addiction for a day”. I turned around at him and leaned my left shoulder on the machine with my arms crossed.
“You just kicked his balls? You killed it! Now he’s not gonna have children of his own.”
I just shrugged my shoulders, not giving a damn about anything.
“Well, that’s even better. And you wanna know what he told me after I talked to him about it? He told me whether he kissed an infant or a toddler would never be my business. I seriously think something is going on with the head of that maniac. If I were his doctor, I’d diagnose him with a brain malfunction". I stared at him dead seriously and started making my way to the cafeteria.
You could clearly say the news is halfway around the globe and into the whole school. Everywhere I go, I have this feeling of laser eyes and glares from people at me and I knew exactly what was going on.
I was on that maniac's death list. Well, I'd expect my year to be horrifying if I was some weak girl, but no. I'm gonna take his year's worth of a lesson and I will not stop kicking his balls until he decides to be a priest.
We entered the cafeteria and silenced for a little as piercing eyes looked at me even from a distance. I just roamed my eyes around to look for Jay and he was sitting on the table the furthest from the world.
"You ordered?", he just nodded as Jon and I rested on our seats. I sat straight after remembering that I hadn't taken my bag off my shoulder and my sketch pad might get crumpled.
I took my bag from behind and let it sit on my lap. I opened it at once to check if the sketch pad was saved and it was, so I sighed before taking it out and saw the twins looking at it as well.
"Where is our drawing?", I made a very weird expression and placed the sketch pad back inside my bag.
"What drawing?", they both stared at each other and both did their choreo. Jon stared at a distance and Jay drank his juice.
"I have no idea she forgets things like that too", Jon said, while his eyes were still glued on the field.
" Wasn't expecting that either", Jay approved too and said it after a gulp of his juice.
"What is it?"
"We made you draw ourselves some days ago, right? Right in this cafeteria", I stared at the ceiling in the hope of remembering something, but no success. So I just took my sketch pad to check if I did. I opened the first page and they were all staring at it, though it was a blank page. So I cleared my throat before raising the sketch pad closer to my face so they wouldn't see while I looked for it.
I don't want to spoil the fun/
I continued flipping on page by page to see if there was any hint of their faces drawn on any of my sketches. But I furred my eyebrows more as I kept flipping the pages and still seeing their faces, not even a tooth. I flipped over the last two pages and there were nothing but cartoons, so I closed it and placed it on the table.
"See, there's no table. What kind of prank was it this time?"
"We're not joking this time. Okay? You really did!"
"But I checked and flipped through every page. There was n-
I stopped explaining until the image of the second to the last page of the sketch pad flashed before my head.
Now that I think about it? I think I might have drawn them
