Rachel’s POV
I sighed as we pulled up to a cafe where I’m meeting someone.
“Hannah, grab Milly.” I said.
She sighed and nodded. I grabbed Maddy who woke up easily. Milly was shortly afterwards. I sighed as we walked into the cafe and sat down in a booth. I heard the doorbell ring so I looked up and saw the people I needed to talk to.
“Hannah, stay with the girls and watch them. I will be close watching over you three don’t worry.” I said.
She nodded and sighed. I got up and sat a few booths away from them with me facing them and the people I had to talk to had their backs to them.
“The usual?” A lady asked, coming towards us.
“Yes.” We all say.
She left and grabbed our food, giving some to the kids and Hannah. She came over and gave us our food.
“So what is going on?” The girl asked.
“I didn’t know who I was helping out. Usually when I help someone I come to you, but it’s The Boss’ sister who I helped.” I said in a whisper.
She sighed and nodded her head as she understood.
“Now he’s after you and you need protection?” The male asked.
“Not me. I can do this on my own with moving her and the kids every few years, but I found out that I was kidnapped and have a bigger family who live off grid because they don’t want their private life to be revealed. I need protection for them. Close to a thousand.” I told him.
“All of our men?” He asked.
“I have weapons at my family home so you can teach them how to use them. I also have money hidden like always and it will be ready in two weeks to get that little girl protection where I live.” I told them.
“I got that by myself.” The girl told me.
I nodded and looked at the man.
“I will get all of our men there. You need to go to a town over and get-” I cut him off.
“They will come when I send word.” I said.
“Come back this way and wait here around two in the morning.” The male told me.
I nodded and sighed.
“Hey; whatever happens my family can never know the kind of killer I am unless we are backed into a corner.” I told them.
They nodded and sighed sadly. I might have killed people in front of them, but that was only my ‘fun’ time that I’ve been waiting to have. If anyone finds out how much of a killer I am then it will be hard for me to ever live a normal life.
“Can we crash somewhere?” I asked them.
“There’s a hotel down the road.” The woman told me.
I nodded and got up.
“Let’s go girls.” I said.
They all got up and walked outside to the truck. I went to pay, but the people I had the meeting with stopped me.
“Follow us to the hotel.” They told me.
I sighed and nodded. I got into my truck and followed their bikes as they are bikers. We didn’t even drive far as we pulled up to a hotel.
We walked into it and my friends bought us a couple hours to rest. I took the girls to the room to rest and told my friends I will pay them back once I get home.
