Chapter 16

Rachel’s POV

I sighed as I got up pushing Ryder away from me. I went to my room and saw the couple sleeping without a care in the world.

I knew that Zachson was naked because he doesn’t like sleeping in his clothes besides his boxers.

“Get up, your brother is here.” I told Zachson.

“What?” He asked.

“He’s here at the border.” I told him.

He sighed and nodded. I walked out and stood outside.

“Here.” He muttered.

“Come on.” I told him and got into my truck that I brought since I needed to tell someone to dump it somewhere.

“I will go dump it. Just tell the guards that I will need a ride back.” He told me.

“I will tell them to allow you both to come back in.” I told him as we parked by the border.

“Luna.” A guard asked.

“They are going to go dump this truck somewhere. Allow them in and call me when they pass the border.” I told the lady.

“Yes ma’am.” She said and turned back.

“I will walk back home. I need to walk anyway.” I told Zachson.

“He doesn’t look happy.” He told me.

“He’s going to have to be happy because I’m happy where I am right now.” I told him.

“Why did you run?” He asked me.

“We both know he would have killed them if he found out I had someone to love and care for when he comes out.” I told him.

“We know.” He muttered.

I sighed and got out of the truck.

“Tell your brother to mask himself.” I told Zachson and walked away.

I got a good distance and decided to allow my wolf to run home. She shifted without me needing to tell her and took off with our clothes in our mouth.

After twenty minutes I felt someone trying to link me.

‘Luna they passed the border.’ A male said.

‘Thank you.’ I linked her and cut her off.

I shifted into my human form and put my clothes on then I ran in front of the house like I was coming out. I held an emotionless face as I was going to face a man I have grown to hate and love.

They stopped in front of the house with glares as they got out. I wanted to glare at them, but held myself back.

“Where will I be staying?” Zachson’s brother; Jacob asked.

“Nice to see you too Jacob. We both know the real reason you are here. You are just-” I was cut off when I smelt Jackson, Xander, and Ryder.

“Yes I understand.” He grunted.

“I also understand that your brother is staying here.” He growled.

I glared at him as I was about to take a step forward, but a voice stopped me.

“Yes I am, but don’t forget you are also our brother.” Xander said.

Fucking b***h! I am going to kill him one of these days.

“Alexander.” Jacob muttered.

“Jacob.” Xander said.

They were sizing each other up and it wasn’t good.

“If one of you even touches a strand of hair on the other I will cut your balls off and feed it to you as if you were an animal.” I threatened.

Jacob quickly looked away as Xander took a step away from me.

“Now that is out of the way. Ryder, this is Jacob, my other brother who lived with his mother and stepfather.” I said.

“Jacob, this is my fri-boyfriend.” I said.

“Boyfriend?” He asked with an evil glint in his eyes.

I took a step forward challenging him to try and hurt him so he took one to me. We didn’t back down so he took a step off the porch.

I slowly took off my jacket and handed it to Jackson who was closest to me. I jumped off the porch and smirked at Jacob.

“You really want to do this?” I asked him.

“Don’t forget I’m a born Alpha.” He told me.

I smirked as his mother was an Alpha who had a human mate, but her pack never believed in changing their mates and only allowed to be with born wolves.

I never knew until a couple days ago when I went to go see him. Of course since his father or stepfather was a gang leader he had taken over then he took over his Alpha position.

“Don’t forget I’ve been training since I was eleven.” I told him.

He lunged at me and I slid away from him and since he had his back to me I attacked him growling. I was thrown off of him, but my wolf wanted out.

I growled at myself for letting my anger get to me. I sighed and closed my eyes then opened them when I was calmed down.

“I see I hit a soft spot.” Jacob said.

I growled glaring at him, but stayed calm.

“I see you haven’t found the one.” I told him, smirking.

He growled and lunged for me as he got angry. I smirked and punched his stomach then gave him a roundhouse kick.

I had gotten close to get him pinned, but he pushed me off of him and attacked me. I rolled from underneath him and kicked his balls. I pinned him down as he was growling in pain.

“I win.” I said and was about to get up, but he pinned me down.

“Rematch next time and I did meet her. She's here in the car.” He told me.

I pushed him off of me and sped to his car. I opened the door and got in.

“Jacob, been nice to you?” I asked the girl behind me.

“No.” She whispered.

I looked back and saw her face was bruised up along with her arms being bruised. I growled and got out of the car allowing my wolf to take control which made us shift.

I attacked Jacob who was ready for the attack. He growled, but didn’t do anything besides push me off of him.

I attacked him again and this time I did two fake lunges then attacked him from the right as he was ready for the left side. He growled and ended up shifting into his black wolf.

I growled again, but Ryder got in front of us. I growled lowly to Jacob in warning as he was about to attack me when Ryder glared at me.

I just kept my position that I had which was an attack position. I was not about to allow my own half brother to hurt my mate like he hurt his.

‘She’s human.’ He linked me.

‘I do not care if she was a skank or a wolf; you do not harm any kind of woman! What if Ryder hurt me as his mate! What would you do then?’ I asked him.

‘Kill him for hurting my sister.’ He growled loudly.

‘She doesn’t have anyone but you at the moment and you do this to her? You are worse than mom and my dad. I told you months ago about everything and you had gotten everything ready for me to go live with you, but yet you are doing it to this human girl! After this fight with this dumb ass gang I never want to see you again!’ I growled at him.

His wolf whimpered in sadness as I’ve always made true to my promises.

‘What if I change?’ He asked.

‘You can’t be for real? You want me to accept the fact you hurt your mate! I bet she doesn’t even know how to reject you as her mate! You need to give her that option. If she accepts you after knowing how to reject you then we can talk about how we can meet up and have a relationship until then me and you are no longer related. Do not rat me out to my mate or new family as I am trying to be better for them while you just want to hurt your mate. If you do then I will force her to reject you then send her to a safe place where not even you can find her.’ I told him and turned away from him.

I heard his bones shifting into his human form.

“Here.” Xander muttered and handed him clothes.

“Thanks.” Jacob muttered.

I still had my back to him so I couldn’t see his naked form. I wasn’t about to shift in front of them, but I wasn’t about to allow my brother to go to his mate and force her to accept him.

“I will stand in front of him.” I heard Zackson say.

I nodded my big head and walked away from them. I ran behind a tree and changed quickly then walked out glaring at everyone from my anger.

“Please do-” I glared at Jacob hard, making him shut up.

I walked over to the car and sighed.

“Get out.” I told the girl.

She slowly got out and looked down. I heard everyone gasp in shock.

“WHAT THE f**k DID YOU DO TO THIS GIRL!” Xander yelled.

“Stay out of it.” Jacob growled.

“JACOB!” I growled loudly.

I’m surprised the pack and girls are still asleep along with Hector, but then again he is used to the growling and can sleep through anything.

“I’m sorry.” He said bowing.

His wolf has taken half control of his body so he is naturally fighting against everything. His wolf wants to please me as his human form just feels bad that he won’t ever see his sister.

“Tell her now.” I told him.

“R-Right now?” He asked.

I glared at him, making him sigh.

“Keke, I know I f****d up really bad and I shouldn’t have hurt you as you are my mate. I am asking for a second chance to be your mate. If you do not want to give me a second chance then you can-” I growled loudly as I heard two heartbeats on the girl.

Jacob buckled from my growl and ended up on the ground bowing to me. He knew I would hear it sooner or later.

“DID YOU r**e HER?” I asked him with a growl.

He bared his neck to me as if he was accepting death.

“ANSWER ME JACOB!” I growled loudly.

I heard gasp in the mindlink as the pack woke up. I smelt Hector and Adriana run outside as I was glaring at my brother.

“Y-Yes.” He whispered.

I growled loudly forcing everyone to their knees including the girl who was crying now. I quickly pulled her up and looked at her.

“Those pups in your stomach are Alpha’s unless you reject that dumbass. I read it in a book back at Jacob’s place when I was there. I didn’t know of you when I showed up then, but now I know and I will protect you. I do not want you to go through what I went through. My brother was wrong so if you want to reject him just say these words; I-um what is your full name?” I asked.

“Keke Alexandra Smith.” She whispered.

“I Keke Alexandra Smith reject you Alpha Jacob Dee Wolf as my mate and Alpha and father to my pups.” I told her.

She looked at me then her stomach then to my brother. She sighed and looked away from us.

“W-What i-if I want to reject him, but still give him a chance?” She asked.

“You cannot reject him as your mate because then his wolf will die off and won’t come back. If he was just rejected as your Alpha then his wolf will be able to hold on to something inside of him and be able to do as please even though he would be weak.” I explained.

“Worst way to explain.” I heard Jackson mutter.

‘f**k off.’ I growled at him in the pack link.

I heard everyone laugh at us. I sighed and turned back to Keke.

“Keke whatever you do it is up to you.” I told her.

She sighed and nodded.

“Will you be here?” She asked me.

“Yes.” I whispered.

She smiled softly at me and sighed.

“Wi-will I be turning into a wolf?” She asked.

“Um; Jackson?” I asked.

“You cannot turn into a wolf until you have your pups.” He told her.

“Okay.” She whispered.

“Let’s all go rest. You will be in a room by yourself while Jacob is bunking with Hector, his Beta.” I said.

“Wait, are all these people wolves?” Ryder asked me.

“Not all of them. Besides, they aren’t here as wolves. They are here as a gang which is about to be dismantled.” I said.

He sighed and nodded. I smiled and allowed him to take us to our room. Someone showed Keke to her room as I went with Ryder. We laid down and went to sleep together.
