As he dressed Cosette’s wound, Edward thought about Isabella and Cora’s foul words and decided he must make them pay.
"Carl, I have something I need to do. Will you stay and look after Mommy?”
Carl nodded.
"Daddy," Carl said.
Edward stopped and looked at him.
"Will you avenge mommy?"
Edward replied in a serious tone, "Those who bully your mother will be punished as they deserve,"
Carl nodded, took off his shoes, and climbed onto the bed.
After leaving the room, Edward called Earl.
"Call Chief Nathan and tell him to arrange for people from the mental health team to meet you at Jack Weitzman’s house. Inform him that Isabella and Cora are ill and need to be admitted to the psychiatric ward for treatment. One more thing, do it yourself." Edward instruc
