Hearing Mike's voice gave Yunee such a shock, she nearly fell over.
She immediately felt a searing pain in her ankle which made her cry out.
Mike rushed forward and lifted Yunee up, cradling her in his arms and Yunee instinctively hugged his neck.
Realizing what was happening, Yunee began to struggle, "Mike, put me down!"
Mike said nothing and walked to his car with Yunee in his arms.

She could feel his hot breath on her face as he held her, preventing her escape.
