A slim hand covered his, taking the camcorder from him. She smiled and pulled him down to sit on the rock. ‘Just look at it with your own eyes for a change,’ she said. She pressed the stop button on the camcorder and placed it next to her. ‘This is my favorite look-out, but I haven’t been here for years.’ She sighed gently. A sound that reminded him of coming home after a long, tiring day. A sound of comfort. Completeness. ‘Why’s that?’ he asked, utterly intrigued, the list blurring into the far recesses of his mind. ‘Work, I guess, too many other things to do.
