I slammed my fists down on the desk in frustration, it had been seven days, a whole week since I was working in my office and felt Cadi’s fear wash over me, and then nothing, our connection was severed. I tried to link her but failed, so I linked Hailey instead. The three girls were out getting pampered before the ceremony the next night.
