Cadi’s POV
I ran through the forest, letting Gen out to stretch her legs for the first time after giving birth to my second little boy Lincoln Michael Rivers. Dante had stayed back to take care of the kids and sent Chris and Nolan with me. We had just reached the Northern board, stopping to have a drink from the stream when I heard a sound that made Gen’s ears perk up.
“What is it, Gen?” I quizzed through our connection.
“I don’t know,” she responded, “but something in my gut tells me it’s important.”
