Memory Last Forever

Years ago... How many years have passed, some memories still remain. When I was a child, my parents used to travel often for work. If those trips were during school opening hours, I would go to the house of Aunt Aye Aye and Htay Htay, the old ladies next door. In that house, there is also a grandmother named May Kyi. Since there is no child except me in the house, I can be naughty whenever I want, so the days I stayed with Aye Gyi (Auntie Aye) were really fun. At that time, we didn't get electricity almost as regularly. We had electricity on a rotating system from one township to the other. Since there were only girls in Aye Gyi's house and, because of the time, it was not yet modern, it was common to use only candles when there was a blackout. One night, the light suddenly went out (It was not the time when the light would go out, it was just that it went out.). When the light went out, I sat quietly where I was. After a while, Aye Gyi came and lit a candle on the table. I also moved to the place where the light was. The place where the desk was also a little close to May Kyi. May Kyi was an aged grandmother, so I could see her calmly praying the rosary alone under the dim candlelight on a bench. What a peaceful sight. One thing Aye Gyi forgot was that she didn't take the lighter back. I saw the lighter that was left on that table. Well, I was just curious and playing with it. Do you know how I played it? I took the lighter and put it on the lighted candle . Perhaps I may have known that doing that was dangerous or, I may not know and just wanted to play it because of my curiosity. Only that little me would know. Because of the heat of the lighted candle, small bubbles like soap bubbles appeared in the gas of the lighter. I was thinking that "Oh... how cool!" and I was very satisfied with what I was doing. I was holding the lighter in my hand, so my hand was hot after a while. Then I put the lighter on the candlelight. I put it on the table again for a while, and I said yes to myself. But.... Suddenly, the lighter exploded with a "blow". The gas in the lighter fell onto the candle and the candle went out. Ever since I heard the sound of "blow", I have thought, "The lighter is gone, the match has exploded . And I don't know if my eyes can see it anymore!".  I was quite startled. I only knew that it was really scary to play. (｡• ́︿ •̀｡) May Kyi and Aye Gyi came running and desperately asked what had happened. I said, "I played it because I wanted to know what would happen if I put a lighter on the candle. And then the match exploded. I don't know if my eyes can still see." I started and cried a lot. I didn't dare open my eyes yet. At that, the adults were startled and washed my eyes with water. "Daughter... open your eyes... can you see..." The person who asked asked and the person who washed my eyes with water washed me and the whole house made noise. In my mind "What if I can't see..." Thinking about it and crying with a loud voice is not over anymore. I didn't dare to open my eyes. I was afraid that I really couldn't see. Fortunately, I was lucky. Nothing had happened to my eyes. I don't know how anything happened! When I heard the explosion, maybe I was startled and quickly closed my eyes immediately. Curiosity almost killed the cat!
