Selene was born with the gift, and curse of sight. She saw her mate, Alpha Dorian reject her three years before it happened. She saw the words, the crowd, and the way his face didn't even flinch. So, when the night eventually came, she didn't fight it. Instead, she let him break her because she believed that was the worst the moon could do to her. Unfortunately, she was wrong. Because by the next full moon, the vision changed. Now she sees Dorian every night, dying in her arms.

The moon is punishing her for accepting rejection, and the only way to stop the vision is to claim him. Also, the only way to keep him alive is to stay away from him.

The pack thinks she's cursed, but Selene knows the truth: if she touches him, he dies. If she doesn't, the whole pack drowns in the war her vision shows.

Fate gave her a second chance with the man who threw her away, it just forgot ti mention the price.

THE VISION REPEATS
Chapter 01. THE VISION REPEATS. Selene's POV. “Dorian!” I jerked up from the bed, panting heavily. “Selene! Are you alright?” Maya stormed into my room. “I-I heard you scream. What happened?” I swallowed hard, and lifted my face to her, while trying to steady my breath. “Was it another vision.” she asked, sitting right next to me. “Yes.” I nodded, rubbing my face with my hands. “I am having more of it these days.” “Why do you think so?” she asked. “I-I don't know.” I shrugged a shoulder. “It is still the same vision only that it keeps repeating itself.” “We should get you some help.” she said, righting herself from the bed. “I will be right back.” “No, don't.” I gripped her arm, holding her back. “I am fine. Really, I am.” “Are you kidding me right now?” she scoffed, blinking her eyes in shock. “You just screamed Dorian's name from your sleep, and you want me to believe that you're fine.” “Aside the vision, I'm fine.” I said, forcing a smile. “There is no need to get any help; I can take care of myself.” “Oh, really?” she jerked her head back slightly. “This doesn't look like taking care of yourself to me, Selene. You're like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode, and I'm not going to wait till you do.” “It is not as serious as you think.” I said, shaking my head. “I am fine.” “You say it's not serious, and yet you keep tracks of the days you've had the vision.” she said, staring at the calender on the wall. “What day is it now? Forty-six, or forty-seven?” “Forty-seven.” I sighed. “But it doesn't mean anything.” “Yes. That's what you keep saying.” she spoke through her teeth. “But I don't think so. In the last ten days, you've had this same vision seven times, and you still think it doesn't mean anything? Come on, Selene. You need help. Just allow me help you.” “I don't need help, Maya.” I said, in a soft voice. “And even if I do, there's no one here that can help me. I got banished from the pack, remember? This place is different.” “I know, but it doesn't mean we can't get you some help.” she sat down on the bed, and held my hands. “We can get someone to help you, Selene. All we have to do is try. I'm sure we'll find someone.” “Thank you, Maya.” I said with a brief smile. “But like I said, I don't need any help. I'm fine on my own.” “Are you really not going to listen to me?” she asked, letting go of my hand. “Are you really going to act stubborn till the end?” “I am not being stubborn, Maya.” “Of course, you are!” she raised her voice. “What other thing has to happen for you to know that you need help, huh? Is it until you lose your mind some day?” “I am not going to lose my mind.” I replied, shaking my head. “Well, I think it's only a matter of time before you do.” she said with a cold gaze. “These visions have been eating you up for a while, yet you've refused to do anything about it. I won't sit here, and watch you hurt yourself. So if you won't do anything about it, then I will.” “Maya?” “Don't call me!” she stomped out of my room, and slammed the door shut. “Damn it.” I muttered the words, and pushed my fingers through my hair. Even if it happened that I needed some help, I couldn't get it here. I mean, everyone around me is human. None of them would understand a thing that's going on with me. I just didn't know why it was difficult for her to understand that. Even if I agreed for her to get me some help, how long would it take for the help to arrive? Besides, I'm not really interested in her getting me some help when I know what exactly is wrong with me. I sighed, got up from my bed, and moved towards the wall. Staring at the calendar, I picked up my marker on the bedside table, and marked the date. After doing that, I stared at the calendar for a few seconds, then I tossed the marker on my bed, and left my room. I walked straight into the restroom, turned on the faucet, collected some water, and washed my face. Staring at the mirror on the wall, I saw flashes of the vision I had earlier. I shook my head as if trying to erase the vision from my mind. After that, I turned off the faucet, wiped my face dry with a face towel, and exited the restroom. “Where are you going to?” Maya asked as I approached the sitting room. She folded her legs as she sat on the couch, while holding a bucket of Pringles in her hand. “I am heading to bar.” I took my jacket which was hanging on the armrest of the couch. “I have to work.” “Are you kidding me?” she made a face. “To do what exactly? What if you get a vision there?” “Come on, Maya. I'm not going there to sleep.” I dipped a hand into the canister and took a chip. “I am going there to work. And obviously, I can't fall asleep while working.” “You never listen to me, do you?” she sighed, shaking her head. “I just believe you know what you are doing.” “I will be fine.” I said, chewing softly. “See you soon.” “Whatever. Just do what you want.” she dropped the canister on the center table, got up from the couch, and walked out of the room. I put on the jacket, and exited the house. Outside, I hailed a taxi, and got in. Exactly half an hour later, I arrived at the bar. As I got in, I flipped the open/close sign hanging on the door to show that the bar was now open. Then I walked to the bar deck, opened the cupboard, took out an apron, and put it on. Just then, the door creaked open. “I will attend to you in a bit.” I said, closing the cupboard. “Just give me a moment.” “I am not here to drink.” the voice came from behind. “I am here to talk to you.” My hands froze. I turned back to see who it was. The very moment we locked gazes, my heart sank. “How long has it been, Selene?” he asked, sweeping his eyes all over the place. “I can see that you've been busy.” “Dorian?”
