Episode.3 Here's the next part of "My Heartless Alpha Lover": I couldn't shake off the feeling that Ryder was hiding something from me. And then, I received a mysterious message that read: "Meet me at the old oak tree at midnight. Come alone." I knew I had to go. I had to know what Ryder was planning. As I approached the old oak tree, I saw Ryder waiting for me. He looked more handsome than ever, but his eyes seemed troubled. "Luna, I have something to tell you," he said, his voice low and husky. "Something that could change everything." I felt a shiver run down my spine. What could Ryder possibly say that would change everything? And then, he dropped the bombshell. "I'm not who you think I am, Luna," he said, his eyes locked on mine. "I'm not just the alpha. I'm something more." I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. "What do you mean?" I asked, trying to process Ryder's words. Ryder took a deep breath before speaking. "I'm the son of the former pack leader," he said. "The one who was murdered by my uncle." I gasped, shocked. "Your uncle? But I thought he was just a random attacker!" Ryder's eyes clouded over. "No, Luna. My uncle wanted the throne, and he killed my parents to get it. And now, he's coming for me." I felt a chill run down my spine. "What does this mean for us?" I asked. Ryder's gaze locked on mine. "It means we're in danger, Luna. We have to be careful. But it also means...I have to claim you as my mate." My heart skipped a beat. "What? Why?" Ryder's eyes burned with intensity. "Because, Luna, you're the only one who can protect me from my uncle's curse." I was stunned. "A curse? What do you mean?" Ryder's expression was grim. "My uncle placed a curse on our family line. If I don't have a true mate by my side, I'll lose control of my powers and become a monster." I felt a shiver run down my spine. "And you think I can help you?" Ryder nodded. "You're the only one who can break the curse, Luna. You're my true mate." I was torn. Part of me wanted to run away from the danger, but another part of me wanted to help Ryder. "Okay," I said finally. "I'll do it. I'll be your mate." Ryder's eyes flashed with relief and desire. "Thank you, Luna," he said, pulling me into his arms. As we embraced, I felt a strange energy building up inside me. It was as if our bond was growing stronger by the minute. But little did we know, Ryder's uncle was watching us from the shadows, his eyes blazing with fury. "You'll never have her, Ryder," he snarled. "She'll be mine, and so will the throne." I was taken aback by Ryder's proposal. Marry him? It seemed so sudden, so permanent. But as I looked into his eyes, I saw the desperation there, the fear of losing himself to the curse. "Okay," I said finally, my voice barely above a whisper. "I'll marry you." Ryder's face lit up with relief and joy. He swept me into his arms, spinning me around in a circle. But as we celebrated, I couldn't shake off the feeling that we were being watched. And then, I saw him - Ryder's uncle, lurking in the shadows, his eyes blazing with fury. "You'll never be happy, Ryder," he snarled. "I'll make sure of it." Ryder's grip on me tightened. "Don't listen to him, Luna," he whispered. "We'll be happy, I promise." But as we exchanged our vows in a secret ceremony, I couldn't help but wonder - were we making a mistake? (To be continued...)
