Epilogue
It took a long time for the scars to heal, both the physical and mental and even to this day, some thirty-five years later there are still certain triggers that take us back. Of course a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then, at least enough to fill a decent size ocean or two.
Annette took a long time to recover. The drawn out court case did not help. In the end Neville Johnson was sentenced to life with a recommendation that he spent at least thirty years in confinement.
