After Ronin left, I forced myself to eat something. My stomach was in knots but I could not remember the last time I'd eaten. I grabbed some food and walked over to the huge window. I nearly dropped what was in my hands when I saw a beach—an actual beach.
How is this possible? I swear there was a sea of green as in trees and a water fountain before?
His bedroom door suddenly opened and a pretty female came into his room and handed me clothes. At first, I was caught off guard.
“I am Mindalous.” She curtsied. Petite, she had tan skin and the prettiest big brown eyes I'd ever seen. She had to have been in her twenties and her smile made me smile in turn. She appeared human. “Ronin wanted me to bring these to you so you would have something to wear when you venture out.”
