"I'm sorry but I want to finish everything this weekend"

"Boss parang hindi po natin kaya in two days, kung kasama natin si Nica ngayun malamang siguro kaya."

"speaking of that woman, may sinabi na siya sayu?"

"wala naman, tumawag siya sa akin nong sabado palang ang huli, dahil sa hotel at restaurant na kailangan daw ng personel para sa government monitoring next month."

"what is it about,"

"tinatanong lang niya kung magagawa ko bang makauwi before the inspection day, pero sinabi ko na sana pero hindi sigurado."

"nalakapagod ba pag may inspection?"

"oo.., sa paghahanda before the inspection dapat kasi personal na tutukan. I think Nica is asking me about it dahil wala siyang time para gawin yun."

"hindi kaya ng isang araw?"

"ai hindi boss lalo na at sabay ang hotels at restaurant. But it's more heavy on Nica's side dahil sa sabado ata ang shipment schedule niya plus may ganitong pang government inspection. "

"now I understand! bat ganon ang inasal ko? alam kung busy siya sa paper works , ang alam ko lang kaya niya yun pero diko man lang naisip ang ibang bagay tulad niyan."

"bakit boss? may sinabi ba si Nica?or may nasabi ka sa kanya?"

"she wants to resign... but I did something that maybe left her with no choice. "

"what do you mean boss?"

"I begged on her to stay.... after that I didn't call her again. Maybe because of what I did, she will stay even though she's tired."

"i don't want her to leave on my side....not because the company needs her, its undeniable how she holds the company. But I can't explain..I can't just let her go."

"how about let's give her a break, a long vocation... I mean she deserves more than that boss. And I don't want her to leave as well, it will be hard for both of us. Her ability is not a question, lets get back as soon as possible, I'm afraid that she's under stress right now!."

The following day is the shipment day but Nica suffer cramps. It's almost 8months and she often suffer from cramps, back pain and some pain that she can't describe.

"baby please mommy need to work today, and you don't even let me stand up. I promise will rest tomorrow. " kinakausap ni Nica ang tiyan niya dahil nahihirapan siya tumayo. Namamaga ang kanyang mga paa paggising kanina. Pero nagawa pa niyang makapagtrabaho but in 2hours everything became worst.

"Ysa.., please come inside"

Ysa is her assistant evertime nasa main building siya.

"yes, Miss Sanchez?"

"Ysa, anong schedule ko?"

"I made this morning clear, di ko kasi alam kung anong oras ka pupunta sa production site wala din akung idea kung anong oras ka babalik or mag stay ka doon."

"hmm..then keep my schedule clear whole day, I will move also the shipment on Monday. I'll handle the arrangement."

"is it okey to move it on Monday Miss?"

"yes... the shipment schedule should be on Wednesday, I can adjust and move it."

"anything you need miss?"

"I'm in pain right now, so I'll stay inside and please don't let anyone come."

"okey miss, I'll screen everything and let you know then.."

"Thanks Ysa...you may go now."

As Sedrick remember that Tony mentioned last time na ngayun ang shipment schedule, kaya hindi niya tatawagan si Nica kahit ilang araw na niya itong tinitiis.

"is she tired now? damn! its weekend but she runs to the other site from main building. I can't imagine if she manage to take her meal."

"Tony..come inside "

Hindi makapag concentrate si Sedrick, he can't understand what happen to him, he felt uneasy since this morning.

"Boss"

"Tony how's the shipment going on?"

"I don't have any idea, I'll call right away"

Tumayo si Sedrick while waiting fo Tony's update.

"Boss... Nica move it on Monday"

"what?! why?!"

"Tumawag daw si Nica na hindi siya makakapunta sa site at ni move nya ito sa lunes."

"what happen to her? is she alright?"

"wala silang sinabi maliban sa cancellation ni Nica and she personally called them. Baka busy siya at hindi maisingit."

"then make a call"

"ok boss," tanging sagot ni Tony dahil hindi niya maintindihan si Sedrick at the same time gusto din niyang malaman ang side ni Nica.

"Boss..sabi ni Ysa alas 10 nang pina cancel ni Nica ang shipment schedule at pina clear ang schedule niya the whole day. And she added that Nica told her that she's in pain daw "

Kumunot ang noo ni Sedrick sa narinig,

"what exactly happened to her,?"

"wala namang detalye galing kay Ysa dahil ipalabas siya ni Nica after giving her instructions and forbid anyone to come."

"Damn that woman! let's head on Monday!"

"Boss...but...ok then I'll arrange it right away."

Naitawid ni Nica ang araw na iyun at dahil nasa loob lang siya pati ang pagkain ay doon na niya ginawa. Naging progressive naman dahil gumalaw ang mga paper works niya.

Kahit si Ysa ay iniisip lang niya na baka gusto lang ni Nica mag focus sa daming paper work naka tambak. And good thing naubos nga ito ni Nica, how hardworking she is weather on field or on table.

Everything happen in Nica's table was being known by Sedrick on the other side.

Buong araw nakatambay si Nica sa kanyang bahay kasama ang mga tao doon na halos ayaw siyang pagalawin. And her business at front went well, minsan narin siyang tumambay doon dahil naaliw siya specially when the shop bake some cakes.And since mainit ang Pinas she added a cold drinks and desserts, So maraming varieties. They are now serving hot and cold ang ganda ng takbo sa negosyu. Naging patuk din ang flower shop niya at umuusad din ang bookstore,pero those working in front doesn't know na may bahay sa likod nila, and Nica built another path their not to cross the people inside from the outside.

Shipment Day and of course Nica is there, making everything fine. At the same time Sedrick reach to her office, he manage to come earlier.

"Mr. Moore.., Miss Sanchez is currently on the site.. will I need to call her? " saad ni Ysa.

"Don't... let her do her things, how's everything here? do I need some papers to deal,"

"Just relax Mr. Moore...nothing much to deal because Ms. Sanchez did everything on truck."

"she works hard...how is she?" tanong ni Sedrick na emotionless naman ang mukha.

"I think she's good as ever."

"okey.. get back to work."

Since Nica is already in the site, she use her time to stay and work some stuff. She's very familiar on this side kaya tuloy - Tuloy lang ang trabaho hanggang sa matapos ang araw.

Tuesday...Nica is back in the main building for she have some pending appointments. Before she start her day she instructs Ysa to make arrangements to penetrate her time. Anyway all her meeting will be held in the building.

Its already 11:45 when she manage to enter her office but unexpected guests is waiting for her. She's shock for not expecting him to be here., but no matter how shock she is Sedrick is not an exception. He is more shock than her watching her baby bump.

"Boss..your here?"..

"Nica...your...your preg..nant?!"

"hmmm....yeah I am.. atleast may matris pa ako hahaha. ,

Napaka awkward dahil walang nakuhang reply si Nica galing kay Sedrick.

But Sedrick's reaction is more than what Nica was expecting. He leave the room without saying anything.

Sedrick can't able to pull himself... he was shock more than shock...on the other side same thing happened to Tony, he wasn't expecting this kind of news welcome them back.

Both men have different thoughts on their mind. Since they can't compose themselves they better leave the place and find some space to digest and absorb everything.

They end up having some alcohol while being drawn on each other thoughts.

"Tony, tell me... do you know any of this f*****g thing?.."

"I only found out after you did"

"Does my parents know?"

"I don't think so... they just arrived couple of days , I think they don't "

"let's kept this matter till here.. I'm worried if they over react specially mom.."

"Boss..that thing is....is big now, like she's about to deliver it soon.."

:"Yeah..I'm not good on guessing but she will be on it soon.. then.. does she have boyfriend?"..

. "I don't know.. I don't have idea and I know nothing at all...:"

"I remember.... I asked her before but she deny it, but that was not long ago. It happened during Sofia's arrival. "

"to be exact boss 6months ago? or 7?"

"We better set and ask her...but I leave her there without any word after I found that she's pregnant. What do you think she will think our departure?"

"For sure she will be upset for both of us, She don't have obligations to us. And she have all the rights,...what she wanted to do, including this kind of stuff. "
