"ogh God! I really can't face her now... I can't pull myself in front of her... not now atleast. "

"But boss., we can't be like this, have you remember the call of Ysa last Saturday?....She once told that Nica was on pain.., I think it's related to her pregnancy. "

"I know right now she really need a rest, having her situation but she runs the company well... you know Tony, I have mix feelings right now....

I feel guilty for not knowing..

I feel guilty for leaving her alone...

I feel guilty for putting her a lot of stress and trouble...

I feel guilty for asking her to stay even when she wants to resign...

I feel guilty watching both her feet swollen., but I can't bring myself to ask her...

I feel guilty after knowing that she's pregnant but i choose to turned my back on her... But you know what? when the time she told me she wants to resign, but because I was only thinking on my side, I never saw and noticed her tired face. I didn't know how much she endured just for me., I never know anything.....

I once consider her to be my wife Tony.. I was planning her to turned into my wife one day..I once thought that she's the right and perfect one.. But it turns out that I am not deserving to be her husband, I'm not worthy to be one... "

Gulat si Tony sa narinig, "Boss...? mahal mo si Nica? I mean in romantic way.. kailan pa?"

"oo! mahal kuna siya, nitong nakaraang araw nong sinabi niyang mag reresign siya.. Para akong hindi mapakali and I don't want her to leave., ilang araw kung iniwasan siya at tiniis na hindi tawagan, pero bigo ako mas lalong tumindi ang aking naramdaman. I did and try to deny but it bounce back."

"bakit di mo sinabi sa kanya? boss anong naramdaman mo ngayun na buntis siya?"

"isa din sa dahilan kung ba't ako tumalikod dahil ayaw kung marinig mula sa kanya na may mahal na siya. Di ko alam kung kaya kubang tanggapin."

"boss kung sakaling walang ibang involved, I mean single mom siya ulit itutuloy mo paba kahit buntis siya sa iba?"

"oo walang kabawasan ang pagmamahal ko sa kanya kahit buntis siya at hindi ako ang ama, willing at tanggap ko maging ama sa lahat ng anak niya. Tony hindi lang si Nica ang mahal, kundi ang buohan niya. Pero binigo ko siya, wala akong silbi, pinapahirapan ko siya Tony. Nong dumating siya kanina sa office ang laki ng pinayat niya. Parang ang hirap tanggapin at akuin nalng ang hirap na dinaanan niya."

"Not only you boss., I am same level as her, but she works more than i did even she's pregnant. Being pregnant alone is not an easy thing to deal, and yet she faced all our responsibilities even she's in pain.

Now I realised the word that she's in pain but manage to stay alone but choose to settle other things that her mind and hands could do. And leave those works that need her strength, and choose to settle the next day."

"And now, we're hurting her again for leaving her behind. "

As Nica, her emotions eat her after the reactions of both men she received. She can't afford to dwell long for she have to work double, she have a month before her due date but knowing her lifestyle during this pregnancy. She suspect that she can't reach a month but rather 2weeks left.

"Ysa...bring me all the requirements list for the next month inspection."

"Miss Sanchez, we received a note that it is the same day the hotels and restaurants inspection. "

"They are so confident, they maybe think we only hold 2 hotels and restaurants. I'm more glad if they will perform in a day, for I have a lot of stuff to finish as my due is approaching. "

"Miss.. don't overwork, your pregnant but you lose weight this few months pass."

"Do you think I have choice Ysa? for they leave me all this?"

Makikita sa mata ni Ysa ang pag-alala at the same time inis narin sa iniwang trabaho para dito. Siya mismo ay walang magagawa masyado dito dahil hindi naman niya kaya ang mga trabaho nito.

"Please give me my schedule for today and tomorrow... I want to do some adjustments."

"Miss as for today you only need to do some approval from the departments and tomorrow you have a meeting at 9:00am till I think lunch break. In the afternoon you have 3:00pm for the supplier meeting at mountain view cafe."

"for tomorrow 's meeting move it the next day and that would be Thursday, do the email to inform them that I need time today to settle the next month inspection. I need to study ang know the precautions.

As for the supplier, I'll try to call it by myself maybe we can move it to the following day. But how about my Thursday schedule?"

"You have 11:00am for the J&C Construction and 1:00pm for Mr. Emillio Duran the land owner of south, I email you this morning his information. And it would be at Herbs Tea House"

"okey.. make the department meeting at 8:00am.. keep the 11:00am for J&C Construction. 1:00pm for Mr.Duran and I'll try the 3:00pm for the supplier. So I'm pack at Thursday, so tomorrow I don't want any disturbance for I will engage myself for the inspection matter."

"okey Miss., I'll follow your instructions."

The next day Wednesday as Nica's plan to stay and study for the inspection. While Tony and Sedrick never show up in the company for they were drunk the whole night at Tony's place. For they manage to wake up late in the afternoon.

"what time is it Tony?"

"its almost 5pm boss"

"s**t!!! how we end up like this?"

"we'll be working tomorrow, so saan mo planong magpalipas mg gabi? di ka naman poyde umuwi ngayun na ganyan ang hitsura mo?"

"well go sa PHouse mamaya, wala akung gamit dito."

"sige, magluluto lang ako para nghapunan natin "

The next day wen Sedrick and Tony arrive at the company, Nica is no where to be seen.

"Boss nasa department meeting si Nica ngayun"

"It's 8:00am ang aga naman, nevermind I'll deal some email first."

11:30 malapit na ang lunch, plano niyang e invite sa lunch si Nica with Tony para narin mag sorry sa inasal nila nong nakaraang araw.

"Tony, come here"

"Boss?"

"Let's have lunch with Nica, book a place na komportable siya. You better go and ask her baka may guston siyang kainin at maihanda in advance. "

"okey boss"

Bumalik din agad si Tony sa office ni Sedrick. "Boss she's not around.. may meeting pala siya 11:00am sa J&C construction."

"kaya pala 8am kanina dahil may ibang appointment siya. Ok then pagbalik niya mamaya after lunch pupuntahan natin siya sa office niya. , mag sosorry man lang tayu."

At 1:00pm sabay silang dalawa pumunta sa office ni Nica pero si Ysa lang ang naabutan nila sa loob bag-aayus."

"Ysa., nasaan si Miss Sanchez. " saad ni Tony .

"Good afternoon Mr. Moore and Mr. Yap, wala po ngayung hapon si Miss Sanchez. May meeting po siya 1:00 pm kay Mr. Emellio Duran and by 3:00pm naman po ay sa supplier. "

Biglang tumalikod si Sedrick pabalik sa kanyang office kasunod si Tony dito. Wala silang imikan sa loob, dahil hindi nila alam kung paano magsisimula.

"Tony, ganito ba siya kabusy talaga?"

"I think, dahil pinaghalo ang mga appointments niya from here sa main building at sa ibang site natin."

"sabihin mo sa akin ano lahat ang lakad niya today."

"okey boss.. 8am department meeting, dito sa main building. 11:00 am, J&C Construction sa Real State natin. 1:00pm, Mr. Duran the land owner sa South partly sa real State parin. And 3pm supplier meeting, for the production site. "

"ito yung hindi natin nakikita.."

Tango lang ang sagot ni Tony, dahil siya mismo ang napapagod sa daming trabaho ni Nica. Nong isang araw lang shipment nakakapagod yun tapos ngayun buong araw ang appointments.

"a whole day of appointments.. how could we face her?"

"Puntahan nalang natin sa apartment niya mamaya boss. Magtake out nalang ako for dinner.

"let's invite her to eat outside, do the arrangements. "

"Boss, baka pagod na siya kung lumabas pa".

"ikaw na ang bahala, after dito didiretso tayu para may time pa siya magpahinga ng maaga."

Pero what welcome them is an empty building.

"what's going on here Tony?"

"Boss, I'm not expecting this as well. I'll better call Nica."

"Don't call her, well wait her tomorrow at the office and get her schedule."
