PREFACE Imagine yourself in this wonderful dream. In the dream you see yourself going to heaven. Approaching the gate of heaven, you see so many angels coming in and going out but you are not yet permitted in, then you just stop one of the angels and ask, “please sir, when will I be permitted in?” And the Angel respond, “oh don’t worry, let the Angel in charge of estates come and check your file so that he will take you to your mansion.” While waiting, so many angels are busy coming in and going out and it seems as if you have waited for a long time. Suddenly, a very handsome Angel just approach the gate with a big file and you just rush to him, “excuse me sir, are you the Angel in charge of the estate?” And he answer, “yes, how may I help you?” And you tell him, “Sir, I have been waiting for you here for a very long time. I was told that you are the one to direct me to my mansion.” “Let me check your file to know where you belong.” The angel respond. He successfully find your file and start opening. The first page blank, the second blank, the same thing in almost all of the pages. As he opened the last page, behold an, inscription, “TALENT NOT USED AND YEARS OF EXISTENCE WASTED.” Then the Angel ask you, “did you enjoy car while on earth?” And you answer, “yes, I even had one.” “Did you attend schools? The courses you read were they not introduced by human like you?” The Angel ask again. And you reluctantly answered, “human introduced them.” “What about phone, home appliances, utensils, clothes, etc?” The Angel ask. “I had all of them“ you answered. “What have you also contribute in making life complimentary and pleasurable? If everyone else that walks the earth were like you, how will the world look like? The Angel ask. And you respond, “but I am righteous, I have Christ.” And the Angel tell you, “of course, that’s why you are here. But don’t you know that you were allowed to stay on earth after you were saved, because God want you to serve Him and humanity in righteousness? Don’t you know that your good work, I mean your good service to humanity is what gives God great glory? Don’t you know that as God is creative, He also created you and fixed all the great deposits in you to also make you creative to contribute in making the world a wonderful place to live? Now you want to go into one of those wonderful mansions, if God was lazy will there be anything like that?” As you just want to explain why you couldn't use your talents, he ordered some angels to escort you back to earth. And you just wake to hear people crying that you left too soon, while others are crying that you are too young to die. No one could really point out one thing you ever contributed in impacting the lives of people in your generation but the inscription on the last page on your file keep ringing in your mind, “talent not used and the years of existence wasted.” Friend, I will like you to know that Christians need to be more involved than non Christians in serving humanity and making the world a wonderful place to stay. We give life, we don’t take life, a Christian cannot invent anything that can be dangerous to life. Evil seems to prevail when the righteous fail to emerge but when the light shine, darkness disappear. Friend, do you know that the next generation will want to have an evident of your today’s existence? This life is designed for us to live in two ways; when we stop living in the body, we begin to live in history. How you live today are the future pages, the future generation will love to learn from you. What lesson will you like them to learn from you? Imagine how people are still gathering today discussing the impact of Elijah, Peter. Paul, Abraham, David, Martin Luther, Abraham Lincoln, Michael Faraday etc. who left to eternity many years ago. These people’s exploits are discussed everyday in schools, churches, in mosques and even at homes. We delight in naming ourselves and our children after them because of impact they created. Now the question is, will people also gather and discuss the impact you created during your life time, many years after you are gone? Will people that will meet you in heaven many years after you left the world embrace you and narrate to you how they were motivated, inspired and changed by the impact you left behind? Or after your death, will it even matter to the world weather you’ve been here or not? Think about these! But you too can create an everlasting impact. If you have ever desire to create impact on earth that can last beyond your life span, setting a kind of flame that will keep people warmed even in the generation that can’t possibly trace your grave, then you are privileged to have access to this book. However, one of the greatest challenges people have, that makes it difficult for one to motivate them to greatness is drawing a conclusion that they can’t attain greatness. Friend, you need to understand that the strongest barrier to your achievements is the one set up by you and the best person to remove it is you. So I am using this medium to encourage you to remove the barrier, convincing you that you can still make it. This is why this book is with you right now, get ready for exploit! INTRODUCTION No great man was born into this world, only infants. Greatness is a deposit in every infant but the responsibility of nurturing the greatness is given to each person and the people around him. It’s your responsibility and that of your parents or guardians to nurture the greatness in you. The greater part of the responsibility is on you, because you are the person that feels the drive of destiny on the inside of you, while your guardians are to guard you rightly to avoid mistakes that can possibly cause you your life or destiny. However, it’s not all guardians that know how to guard their children rightly. This is one of the reasons this book is made available. Of course everyone that walks the earth needs a copy of this motivational classic which is specifically designed to bring out the best in you. Yes! You can become the world best in whatever you are doing. It’s very important that I explain what each principle of this book is going to do in your life. The first principle is designed to help you understand that the deposits of God on the inside of you are unlimited; with the deposit you can impact every individual that walks the earth. The second is designed to drive away every form of inferiority and mediocrity from you. The third principle will cause you to stop looking for money and start generating wealth. With what you gather from the fourth principle your services will become global. The fifth will help you to know how to set a standard that others must follow. The sixth principle will cause you to become so committed to your services to a point that, no boss can ever think of firing you. The second part of this book is designed to reset your mind the right way, to help you have the right mindset towards every person and everything around you. The seventh principle deals on self denial, helping every reader to know that nobody is created for himself, that we are all here for one another. The eighth deals on self discipline, it will help every reader to know how to stay focused, refusing to be distracted. The ninth deals on faithfulness and consistency, the tenth deals on Humility which is the power that great people uses to control pride, anger and every other thing that always cause people that grow tall to fall. The eleventh principle deals on stability, not easily moved by challenges and situations of life and the twelfth which is the last will help you to develop a sense of accountability. One of those things that makes who you are and even determines your behavior, is what you were told. For instance, when I was a little boy people use to tell me that I was ugly and I was convinced enough to believe it; this made me feel sorry for myself and inferior before beautiful girls but right from the very day I met my beautiful wife and she looked into my eyes and told me “honey you are handsome“ my mindset about myself changed then I began to feel happy and proud of myself. Like Eli’s grandson who was born during Israel’s defeat whose mother named him Ichabod (the glory has departed), it could be possible that the boy grew with the defeat mentality and die as a mediocre (with heroic deposits in him) because nothing is written about him anymore in the Bible (1 Samuel 4:21). He needed some other person to tell him that he is not a failure, that he is the best of his kind. This is one of the reasons God made it possible for you to have access to this book because He doesn't want His deposit in you to waste. You are the best of your kind and the pages of this book are carefully written to teach you how to become that great person God destined you to be. Let’s see how in the next page. PART ONE HOW TO BECOME THE WORLD BEST Almost everyone desire to be a hero or heroine because that’s exactly how God created us to be originally but it’s very few that know and apply the right principles of becoming heroes and the world best in whatever they are doing. As I said in WISDOM TO CHANGE YOUR WORLD, “Failure to know what you should know will make you who you ought not to be”. There are so many people who were born to be the president of their countries yet they end up dying as palm wine tappers. There are some who were born to be medical doctors but they just end up as cleaners in small scale industries. There are some who supposed to be governors, Lawyers, Engineers, great inventors, business men, Pastors or great in any other field but they just end up as prisoners or drug addicts or drunks, etc. It could be that they were not well guarded in their destiny pursuits or maybe they were influenced to make wrong choices or lured into wrong pursuit. Remember that every baby boy is destined to become a man, every baby girl is destined to become a woman and everything you do today is contributing to what you will become tomorrow. The orange seed you plant and carefully watered today will become the orange tree that will produce orange fruits for you tomorrow but the orange seed you kill today will be the reason for orange scarcity tomorrow. The great men that rule the world are not heavy weight champions but men and women of great mental strength. All of them began as babies just like you did but what they know, believe and pursue makes all the difference. Having a profession doesn't make one a hero. One can be a medical doctor but not a hero, one can be a lawyer but not a hero. It’s not all pastors that are heroes. One can even spend many years in school studying one professional course or the other only to graduate and work for a hero who has never gotten any tertiary education all his life. But how do I become a hero and the best in my career? One may ask. Thank God for having access to this book, you will discover how as you read on. There are things you don’t have to do anything to cause them to happen and there are things that can never happen until you get to work. For example, you don’t struggle to grow hairs on your private body and your chic, you don’t have to labor for your height; all these things just happen on their time. However, you can never just become a hero and the world best simply because you have been desiring it or people have been wishing you, you must work for it. Your parents money can’t even help you become a hero without your effort. You must know the principles of becoming a hero according to the kind of hero you wish to be and the said principles are not taught in school this is why this book is placed in your hands because God never want you to die a mediocre and His deposit in you wasted. If you fail to know and do what you should know and do today, the years that comes and go will certainly cause you to become ashamed of your age. The old man you will later become will either become ashamed or proud of the young boy you are today based on how you are currently using your youthful age. Everyday you see in life subtracts from your days of existence on earth and add to your age. Friend, every human has a duty to perform and time to carry out the duty or else he will grow out of his time of duty and left with no other duty than to die. Your today’s hard work according to your purpose of existence will usher you into a sweet rest but your laziness (resting in a wrong time) will cause you shames and regret in the future. I know that someone will shout God forbid. No, not God, you have to forbid it now yourself. Now check your time, every second is rushing to become a minute, minute is rushing to become an hour, hours to a day, weeks months, years and so on, if you fail to work hard, making good use of your time, you will be so ashamed of yourself tomorrow . An average person waits for future while a great person walks the future before it arrives. This first part is designed to teach you how to walk the future while everyone else is still waiting for it. People that walks the future before it arrives are those that can predict the future and determines the activities of others if they must succeed. Of course, you can become the very best of your kind in the world in whatever career you are doing right now. Always believe that you are sent to bless lives; believe it enough to stir up the desire and passion in you to offer solutions and put smile on people's faces. Of course, you are there in where ever you find yourself to solve people's problems. Do you want to know how? This is where the first part of this book is taking you to. Are you ready for the journey? Let’s go there! WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FIRST PRINCIPLE 1. In this principle you will travel back to the past where you messed up your future and discover how you got it wrong then come back to the present and put them right. 2. You will learn how to make good use of your today. 3. You will travel to the future and put things right so that you can predict every new day and control what must happen to your goals. PRINCIPLES #1 DISCOVER YOUR UNLIMITED POTENTIAL Now touch yourself and say “from today I am no more limited because I am about to discover and make good use of my unlimited potential”. Let’s use the parable of talent told by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 25:14-30 to explain this. According to the parable, the master gave five talents to the first person, two to the second guy and one to the last guy. The guy with five traded on his own and turned the five to ten; the second person turned the two to four while the third guy went and buried his own waiting for the day of giving reports because he wasn't pleased with the quantity given to him. Instead of pleasing report, he lavished so much blame and insult on his master. Others were congratulated but he was thrown into a place of sorrow. Friend, your murmured and complaints can never motivate God to do what you want, they will rather multiply your pains, add to your sorrows, divide your peace, subtract your joy and doom your life. The value people will have on you is determined by the value you place on what God deposited in you. You were sent to bring joy to this world. The attitude you have towards God’s deposit in you can cause you to be celebrated or disrespected. Notice! There’s nobody in this world without a unique deposit from God to impact the world according to the purpose God sent him into the world. Now pause and ask yourself, "is this true? What is that great deposit of God in my life that supposed to bless people's lives all over the world and bring me prosperity and honor in return?". The issue is not the quantity of gifts or talents you have but your attitude towards what you have. Do you know that a lot of people you are working under them or always submit to them in order to obtain favor are not as gifted or anointed or talented as you are? What makes them more successful is the value they place on what they have and how hard they work on what they have. You can generate greatness through the way you are working with what you have in you. Don’t assume that I don’t know that the word talent in the above mentioned scripture refer to money. I purposely chose God’s deposit which is far beyond money to help every reader understand what God is expecting from every individual that walks the earth. In Genesis 1:26 God told Adam to multiply and fill the earth but He never told him the number he should multiply with. The same thing is applicable to the talent and gifts God has given to us. Any number we choose to multiply God’s deposit in us determines the results we get. If you say, “since I don’t have anybody apart from myself let me better multiply mine by one, your result will also be one. If you multiply by the number of people on earth, your results will be global. Remember, God had never instructed any of His creature to add but to multiply. Your talent and gift determines your service to humanity. A man with only one talent that decides to multiply his service by the number of people on earth can be a billion times better than a man with a hundred talent that multiply his services by himself and few members of his household. How do we multiply? We multiply our greatness with our services to the world through dreams and visions. You can’t be in everywhere in the world at the same time but your service can be based on your vision. Are you ready for exploit? Let’s dig deeper in the next topic. THE FIGURE AND THE DOT Let’s use figure and dot to explain it: Let’s assume the master gave those three servants figures and permit them to pick up as many zeros as they like. Let’s also believe that they are free to place dot if they want. The first person came and the master gave “5” as a figure; the second person came and the master handed to him figure “2” and the third guy just walked in and the master said, friend, what I have for you right now is figure “1”. Let’s assume this guy with one is wise now. If the man that received 5 choose to place one zero in front of his figure then he fix a dot, he will have 50. (Fifty). If the guy with figure 2 decided to place two zeros in front of his figure before he fix a dot, he will have 200. (Two hundred). But if the guy with figure 1 decide to place six zeros in front of his figure before he places a dot, he will certainly have, 1,000,000. which is one million. Coma in this case is very profitable. Remember that they were not given or told to place dot, people uses dots at their wish and place it where ever they like. What is given is the figures and we are asked to place as many zeros as we want. Dot here signifies your reasonable and wonderful excuse. When God deposited talents and gifts in you, he didn't deposit any excuse with them, He never told you to create one, you are the one that created your beautiful excuse. But you need to always know that the excuse you create does no good to the deposit of God in you. Information you hear can generate dreams and dreams are like zeros, their values are known as they are placed on the services we render through God’s deposit (talent and gifts) in us. Excuse is like a great wall that hinders people from reaching where they are destined to be in life. When God told Adam to dress the garden He gave him no machete (He gave him nothing) except His word (zeros). Adam had to generate vision and dreams from the words God told him. Adam generated the machete and all other tools he needed for the job through the instructions he received from God. Adam only failed by eating the forbidden fruit ?,, he dressed the garden, dominated the earth and multiply and filled the earth successfully. If Adam could create tools and dress the garden successfully even before Tubal Cain could discover metals according to Genesis 4:22, why do you think your own excuse for not carrying out your responsibility will be necessary? He was able to name all the animals, birds, fishes, trees and every other thing that God presented before him. Friend, what you are reading right now is not money, house, companies, etc. it’s an embodiment of everything that one would ever need in this world; it worth more than money and everything that money can buy. If only you can take your time and ponder ? over what you are reading from this book, you will certainly generate visions and dreams that will keep people in awe. You can develop great dreams that will impact the whole world from what you hear or read, it’s left for you to decide either to use it or not but you can never benefit from the word you never applied. THE DAILY TRANSACTION According to the parable of the talents, those two successful guys went into trading with their talents, because life is all about buying and selling. You must sell God’s deposit in you, to buy what others can achieve with God’s deposit in them. For example, you might not be the person that made the very clothes you are putting on, you might not be the very person that sowed or harvested the food you eat today, you bought them with the money you generated from God’s deposits in you. You came into this world with a great deposit from God, for the benefits of others. The more you sell out the deposits in you, the richer you become but if you fail to transact the deposit in you, you will remain poor. Genesis 1:28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” In the above scripture God told Adam to be fruitful and multiply. He never said that he should add but to multiply. Your dream doesn’t add but multiplied God’s deposits in you. Remember that we have already established a fact that your dreams are like zeros. For example, if you have five (5) as a figure and you have a dream that is like one zero and you just add the one zero to the figure, that single zero will cause the five to become fifty (50) which means, that single zero had multiplied the five ten times. Imagine what the five will become if you happen to place ten zeros in front of it. It will certainly turn to fifty billion (50,000,000,000). This is why you shouldn't waste any day of your life. If you don’t have a job or business to do in a day use it to develop a dream. For example, if you use those days to develop dreams that looks like ten zeros even when there seems to be no opportunities, it will become a ten billion worth of exploit when ever it meets with opportunity. Friend, do you know that each new birth day you call plus one is actually minus 365 days of your existence on earth? Every day you waste is a great loss to so many people that walks the earth. There are so many people that supposed to benefit from what God have deposited in you. Think about it! If all drivers, mechanics, those in petroleum sector, those in health sector, educators and traders decide never to work in a month. Think of the number of businesses that will collapse, the number of people that will die and how people will regret and feel very bad about it. Friend, every human that walks the earth comes to solve a problem, however, we have more problems in this world because majority are ignorant of the solutions deposited in them for the entire world. Of course, failure to know the solutions we should offer is the course of more problems people are facing today in the world. Also, when the people with the right mindset fail to offer solutions to the challenges people are facing, people with evil motive always offer more problems that looks like a solution which may probably solve the problem for a while but become a bigger problem in the future. Please let me ask you my dear friend, do you discover any solution for the challenges people are facing in this world? If you haven't discover, please carefully read the following pages because that is were your prosperity, fame and honor lies. Let’s see what the figure, the zero, the dot and several abilities signify in the next topic. WHAT THE FIGURE, THE ZEROS, THE DOT AND THE ABILITY SIGNIFIES The figure here signifies the talent or gifts which we’ve already discussed in the previous topic. Zero signifies visions and dreams generated from information, Dot signifies excuse while Ability refers to Power or Potential. Remember, when we talk about ability we mean power and the Greek word for power is potent from where we have the word potential. Let’s first look into ZEROS (visions and dreams). When people doubt your dreams they are right but that’s never the reason you should quit from your dreams. They doubt it because your dreams are like zeros; they are not reality (tangible) until you place them in front of your figure (talent or gift). This is why you shouldn't expect people to respect you for the goals you have not yet accomplished. How do you expect people to salute the president you’ve not yet become? Yes, you have all it takes to become the world best, it’s true that God told you or showed to you how great you are born to be but nobody is obligated to take you for the great person you are dreaming to become. Some dreams are like one zero while some are like twenty zeros. It’s very few people that know that zero has a great power to turn a little figure to a great number. Almost every human that walks the earth looks down on zeros, this is why people including your parents have no regard for you as long as you are only loaded with visions and dreams that are yet to come true. A successful person is not a person with great dreams but a person that turns his dreams to reality. Some people can generate great dreams but they don’t take any action on it. This is why too many people die as mediocre with heroic deposits locked-up inside of them. Information can metamorphose to dream but until it is turned to reality they are like zeros. Just as we’ve discussed in the previous topic, God only gave Adam His word without any tools when He asked him to dress the garden. The word Adam received from God came with everything he needed for the job. Each word we receive from God carry everything pertaining to life and godliness. God’s word was meant to develop dreams and vision in him. Even so, the book in your hand is meant to develop dreams and visions in you to render an impactful service to the entire world that will last beyond your life span.
