Ch.2 Meeting Alpha Smith

"Good evening, ma'am." I replied to her greeting.

"May I speak with Alpha Smith, please?" I asked. She looks to the side as she mind-links someone that I have arrived.

"Yes, Mr. Williams, if you go up the stairs, the door in front of you is the Alpha's office. " She says, then opens the door wide enough for me to enter.

"I will be going inside. Can you take my little brother from the truck, please ma'am?"

She looks behind me and says,

"You mean the boy that's staring at you from the truck?" I nodded.

"Alright, I'll have him in the kitchen with snacks." She tells me.

"That's fine" I tell her.

'I walk into the house and look at the walls as I walk towards the stairwell. The pictures are of so many people together, some with smiles and others with upset faces, though I laugh out loud because it's amusing that they got some people upset in a photo.' I grin.

'We'll be in those photos soon enough when we join the pack.'

I nod and continue looking around as I go up the stairs and see a door in front of the stairs. So I knock on the door and I hear a rough, "Come in." So I turn the knob and open the door to see the alpha sitting at his desk.

He's wearing a suit, he's most likely in his late twenties, he has brown hair and a dark green pair of eyes.

As he looks up at me, his facial features change from relaxed to serious.

"You may take a seat." He says, not as a suggestion but as a command. I looked at the chair in front of his desk, then walked closer to the desk.

Even though I can avoid the Alpha's command, it's like an ability that I inherited from my mother and Walter inherited either that or the ability to control an alpha like our father.

I still sit in the chair out of respect, but he doesn't need to know that.

"Your Raymond, correct?"

"Yes, Alpha Smith"

"You'll need to sign this form for work in the pack. You'll get a collar for the job you're working and your brother will get one that has your name on it, so others know he's your family member."

Alpha gives me a form to sign and hands me two collars, one with my name and the other blank until I get a job I guess.

"I'll have John show you where you'll be living with your brother. Later, when you're settled, we'll have you join the pack link and pack ceremony," he tells me, then mind-link's John, I presume.

Five minutes later...

*Knock

*Knock

"Come in." Alpha Smith says.

'The person named John, I assume, comes in wearing a blue T-shirt with jeans that fit his figure quite well. Because he has black brown hair and a pair of caramel brown eyes and a hard kind face. His body is mostly muscle, I could tell, because when he had his hand on the door knob to close it from the inside, his right forearm flexed with how much strength he had on the knob.'

'Stop, gawking Ray, because we will be waiting till our mate comes.' Silas reminds me.

"Alpha, you called for me?" He said to the alpha, looking straight at him, then his wandering eyes landed on me.

"Yes, you're going to show our new pack member to their house near the pack house." Alpha said.

"Yes, Alpha," John said, then turned to face me as I got up and grabbed the collar in my hand, as I walked to him. He opens the door for me.
