Ch.1 Sleep
*Two years earlier*
(Raymond's POV)
'I lay awake as I thought about the events that went on around the pack house. It seemed that we were going to be moving to a separate house that's in Alpha Arlo Smith's territory. I suppose it's for the best, it seemed that Walter just couldn't comprehend that the pack house wall wasn't paper to paint on. But then again, what can you expect from a five-year-old boy? Especially when each time the pack members reported that there was even a smudge on the wall, I would be sent to the Black Room and my brother got his punishment and not eating anything for however long I was in that room.'
I smoothed out Walter's hair before he started to shift his body as he slept next to me.

In the morning, we have our bags packed. We're on our way to the truck that has been passed down in our family for twelve years.
"Ba…ba..." Walter said, getting my attention while I was carrying two bags of stuff and his snack bag in my hands.
"What's up Walter??" I asked him as he looked up at me, puppy-eyed with hazel eyes.
"W-when are we going h-home?" Walter asked as he tilted his head to the side.
"Hmm, I think wherever we go, and it's together will be our home. So maybe on the alpha's land or somewhere else." I said as I put the bags in the trunk.
"Yes!" he said with a determined look in his eyes which made me smile, to think he understood the discussion.
So I pick him up and hugged him to show that I love him. Then put him into the truck and buckled him into his car seat.
As we get ready to leave in the truck, 'I look at Walter through the rear-view mirror and see that he's looking out the window, then closes his eyes thinking he'll most likely remember the place in his mind. Then look straight ahead as if it's locked in his memory.'
So then I started the truck, and we started driving towards Seattle where the Alpha's land is.
By the time we got there, we saw a lot of pretty views. Halfway through, Walter fell asleep.
'As I started to see the gate around the territory, I pulled my window down, stopped at the gate.' Waiting for a well built werewolf, most likely a warrior coming up to my side of the truck. Mind links me,
'What business do you have here?' He asks.
'We're moving onto Alpha Smith's lands today, I have the paperwork if needed to verify.' I told him with my head bowed.
As if mind-linking someone else, he then tells me I may continue heading forward passed the gate.
That's exactly what I did, and I kept driving until I saw a big house upfront which is most likely the pack house.
As I park the truck, I then look to see Walter is still sleeping, and so I leave him there and have the doors unlocked and start walking up the stairs to the front door.
As I knock, I can smell there are a few pack members in the house and I can hear footsteps letting me know that someone is coming near the door.
Once the door is wide open, I look to see a woman, maybe in her late thirties, smiling as she gets a look at me. In return, I smiled back at her.
"Good evening, young man." She says to me. As I look at her attire, she has a dress that's purple with dull pink pedals that look absolutely beautiful. It doesn't look as though she is wearing any makeup at all.
"Good evening, ma'am." I replied to her greeting.
"May I speak with Alpha Smith please?" I asked.
