After getting the documents Alexander sent, I settle down to look through, it seems Lisa was truly not interested in the business affairs of her family.

Although Lisa may be innocent I know is father wasn't ,after all, he's a business man, after reading far I saw I was right, he had other motives behind his confrontation, he actually wanted revenge on the Martin's, but he didn't want to dirty his hands, he known in the business world for that. He never dirty his hands and that makes him seem innocent to those who don't know him.

I don't know the Lambert's very well, but I know pretty well that they can destroy their enemy with a snap of a finger. The old man knew his daughter liked me. He arrange for this to benefit him and his baby girl.

"Miss, have a sit" she sat Infront of me, with all her confident and glory self. "how can I help you Miss Lambert? or should I call you Miss Marl?, dear wife to be" I ask sarcastically with a smirk, but the disgust on her face wasn't what I expected.

Although it didn't last long but she was disgusted by what I said, I thought she like me.

Her father and my brothers are sure of that so why was she like this, she wasn't like this the first time we met and the warmth she had in her eyes at our first meeting wasn't there anymore.

"I wasn't supposed to disturb your work Mr Marl and am sorry for that" she didn't even look at me, did I get the wrong information.

"I have come up with a good reason to cancel the engagement, and I think we'll both benefit"

I couldn't help but laugh, so that was what this was all about, here I was thinking I was harsh enough to make her angry.

"I was mistaken I shouldn't have come here in the first place, I'll talk with my dad, we'll cancel it so just wait for the letter." she wiped her tear away not allowing it to flow.
