I prepared a dish for the vampire king, Emma volunteered to get it to him while I do some sightseeing around.

I accepted. She goes off and I was left thinking about where I could find mom.

I came to a place outside the castle, it was a tunnel and also forbidden for anyone to enter, but just the workers.

I saw everyone had themselves doing one thing or the other.

The guards around there also have their eyes preoccupied.

I sneaked past them and entered the tunnel.

It was indeed dark and so quiet, while moving in, I heard some men talking while coming out.

I looked sideways to find a hiding spot, then spotted a boulder.

Immediately I ran and hid behind

The men passed and non-spotted me.

I came out afterward and continued my journey, I wanted to know what was inside here.

I passed the door with lights at the side.

I came to another however someone dragged me back, I heard a woman whimpering.

"Mom,".

I thought so but when I found a way to get the door opened, it wasn't her.

My hopes as been dashed off again

Emma saw me leaving the tunnel. She runs ahead and asked me why I had gone there.

I lowered my head and thought if I could tell the truth, she might help me.

So, I told her the truth.

Emma asked me to come with her, we got into the room and she shared her thoughts on what I told her.

She believed that my mom wouldn't be at the tunnel dungeon but would mostly be at the castle of lost souls.

Emma wanted to know why the vampire king had kidnapped my mom, I answered back with a frown and fell whimpering on the bed.

She promised we would find my mom together.

Zach walk in later, he wanted me to do some things for him at the office.

He hands me a flyer and asked if I disturb it around the town.

The vampire King will be having a party to select his bride.

I looked at the flyer and thought.

Wouldn't it be a great idea to also get selected by the vampire king,

At least it would be leverage to get what I want and free my mom.

"Ava, what's happening?"

Zach snapped his face to my face.

I looked up.

"Nothing sir," I left holding the flyers to distribute.

I got to town and handed the flyers to everyone there, I even pasted some on car windows, trees, and anything I could find.

I grabbed a taxi to head back to the castle when a hand grabbed me out.

I turned around, meeting Jax staring at me.

"What is wrong with you, do you how much I have been looking for you?"

He wrapped my head in his shoulders.

"Excuse me?"

I pushed him away and remained him of his hurtful words spoken to me.

Zach apologized and related the news of what happened to my mother.

He also volunteered to help me find her too.
