I came back alone, Jax said he would always be around whenever I need him.
Zach saw me walking towards my bedroom, and asked if everything had been distributed.
I shook my head and walked past him.
Zach couldn't help but feel something bad happened.
He grabbed my hands and pulled me back to his gaze.
"Ava, did anything happen?"
He says.
...
There was no way I could tell what happened, but to lie to him.
I lied to Zach and he left believing them.
No one has to know what happened to my mom, or else I wouldn't be able to save her.
I got to the room and rested.
Some maids rode past there and they were both talking about Zach.
They adored him and wouldn't mind getting married as well.
I grinned at their words and returned to sleep. I re ted until Emma came in.
"Ava, wake up,"
She pushed me over.
"Whaaaaat?".
I stretched out and face her.
Emma brought the news to me that my mom's whereabouts as been relived, she wanted us to go and survey the whole place.
I put on my slippers and wanted us to right away.
Emma however asked we stay back for a while and go there after noon.
I accepted.
It was noon, Zach decided to send Emma to a place and I was left alone to find mom myself.
Emma gave me the address and I couldn't wait any longer, I went there all by myself...
There was an abandoned cemetery there, why would the vampire king keep mom in such a place...
I got into the cemetery and looked around, there was something odd about here, I had this feeling like I was being followed.
I turned back but didn't find anything.
I surveyed yet mom wasn't there.
Emma must have given me the wrong address.
I was just about to leave when I heard something growling behind.
It seemed like an animal.
I turned back and a huge animal jumped and attacked me.
It had wide teeth, and strong reflexes, it isn't just an animal but a werewolf.
I searched for a weapon, however, Jax comes to my rescue.
He jabbed the werewolf away and help me up from there.
We got to the castle again, Jax was so furious at me, that he demanded to know what made me go there without telling him.
I have no words to justify myself.
I left his car and walked into the castle.
Emma was seated waiting for my arrival.
"Ava, did you find your mom," she says.
There was this evil grin on her face while she asked me.
Why do I feel she sent me there on purpose?
I asked Emma the same question, she gets infuriated by my words and admitted that my presence was only for self-self-benefit.
She had always wanted to gain access to the vampire king and kill him for what he had done to her and her family.
I got it, however, where do I fit in the picture?
