ZOREN did not know what to feel about the message of his ex-girlfriend. He did not know if he would be hurt, mad, or frustrated. It’s been 3 years but the pain was still there. She was the only woman he loved in his whole life yet she decided to leave him to pursue her dreams of becoming a successful model. He was there to give all of the support she needed. She was barely naked and he was fine with it even though his mind was not just to support her from modelling. She was posing erotically with a man and even though he was deadly jealous he was fine with it again because he loved her and wanted to support her. He did everything he thought he could not do just to protect their relationship that they had for 4 years. They have been together since high school and he loved her so much. He’s good at keeping their relationship. He was cool with her modelling but her management wanted them to break up. He thought she would fight for their relationship but she ended it like she was eliminating an ice cream from her wish list to eat after a good exercise in the gym. She left him without any hesitation and he hated her for that. He took a deep breath and decided to ignore the message that came from his ex-girlfriend who hurt him three f*****g years ago. With those three words and simple one message, he remembered everything, it seemed like there was a flash of memory that came into his mind, and remembered all of the pain and the things she had done to break him. It was like just yesterday. He cursed in his mind and tried to forget about the message removing his ex-girlfriend from his mind. "Do you have a problem?" Wendy returned to their table and brought their coffee. She asked him if he had a problem because it was obvious on his face that he was not in the mood and he was mad as hell. Wendy put the coffee in front of him. He smelled it and it was so good in his nose, it smelled so good especially while she was making it. He shook his head to answer her question. “No, I don't have a problem," he answered and she did not look convinced to his answer. "For real, I don't have a problem, Wendy," he added and convinced her but she could not be convinced by that. "I don't believe in you. You're a bad liar." Wendy said to him as if she knew he was lying and it was true, he was lying and that he did not have any problem at all where he was getting so much emotion because of just a simple text by her ex-girlfriend. "What's wrong, Zoren? Come on, you can tell me what's on your mind," "I'm fine, I don't have a problem, geez," he seemed irritated now because she was insisting that he looked not okay and he was mad. "You're not a good liar, Zoren. I know you." Wendy smiled and told him and he knew him and she knew he was lying. "My ex-girlfriend just texted me and said she's missing me, should I believe that?" he said laughing but hurt, he knew that she was fooling around him and should not believe that. "Well, it depends on you. Do you want to believe it?" she asked him, a question that he did not have the answer to because even he was having a hard time choosing if he would believe it or not. He was still in denial. "No." He answered immediately and did not even think twice about it. "Then don't believe it if you don't want to, it's on how you see things and you're the one who knew her so, if you think she's lying and just playing around then she's on it," she advised him and tell him what's she's thinking about his situation and it kind of help him. Thanks to her. "Thank you, I appreciate your words and advice to me," he smiled at him and he received a response of smile from her too. They both smiled at each other. "You're here at the kitchen counter table to watch me make your coffee, right?" she asked smiling and laughing because that was what he was always doing, watching her making him coffee. And today is not an exception. "I thought you had an emergency meeting," she added and she thought of it because he was seriously looking at his phone earlier. "No. I am staying here, if you want me to leave you will fail to do it," he said giving him a smirk he was teasing her because he knew she did not want him to leave. "Of course not! Why would I ask for you to leave? It's been a week since the last time I saw you," she said and now she was the mad one and he smiled at that. He liked it when he was getting her annoyed by him. They drink the coffee she made. At first sip, he knew he would like it. He never gets disappointed with how she made coffee, especially his favorite and he likes it even now. "This is good, Wendy, you're improving making coffee," he praised her and she smiled at him. He sipped again on his coffee and he looked so proud because it tasted so good. He's happy drinking the coffee again that she made. "Well, I have been doing this for so long, I will be damned if I won't improve and not good at making coffee," she said and that's a fact. She should be best-doing coffee now because she's doing it a lot. And she's a coffee shop owner she should know a lot about coffee and how to make it. "Thank you for having me today in your coffee shop, Wendy, it was nice visiting you and seeing you good here today," he smiled genuinely and drank coffee with Wendy. They talked about their lives and what's new. They enjoyed this morning having a conversation and drinking coffee that she made.
