THE SMILE on Zoren's face faded away, he was slapped by Mike's wife. He was shocked and did not know how to react and what to react. What was that for? What the hell did just happen? He could not get over it. He was slapped by Alona, Mike's wife for nothing. He cursed in his mind. This woman is stupid.

He closed his fist and tried to control his temper for this woman. "What was that for?" he asked, the tone of his voice was very mad but still he managed to be calm so he could not hit the woman in front of him who slapped him. He wanted to know why in the world she slapped him. He didn't know the reason and he was clueless about that hard slap that she gave to him. He was stunned by that slap. He cursed her over and over again in his mind.

Alona's eyes were burning in madness. She felt like Zoren's trying to be a bad influence on her husband and she was not happy about it. She was mad and she didn't like him at all. "I am warning you, Zoren, don't be a bad influence on my husband," Alona said in a very strict and cold voice, warning him about being a bad influence on her husband. Without giving care to who she was speaking to. After all, she is the daughter of the Mayor and there is something to be proud of, that's why she treated him like that.

"What?" He asked her very clueless. What the hell she was talking about? Is he a bad influence on her husband? Since when he was a bad influence on Mike? Isn't the other way around?

He looked at his buddy. He knew that Mike figured out this was going to happen that's why he took him with him. Mike's face was pleading with him without a word. He knew it, Mike wouldn't beg for him to come to his house without anything.

For sure he will get an act of revenge on him. He will not let this pass. Alona was pregnant and he could not take revenge on the pregnant woman. After all, Mike is the one to blame for why he is here and why Alona slapped him. Mike will be mad at him.

"Are you deaf?" Alona asked him rudely. "I said don't include my husband in your goodies, Zoren. This will be the last time. I am warning you. I don't want to know the next time you're together at the club. I know you, Zoren, my husband is sober, he has changed for me so I hope you don't include him in your nonsense anymore," she said as if she was so sure that her husband already changed for her.

Does she know what she was talking about? It was her husband who took him to the club and not him. He rolled her eyes because of frustration. He didn't want to talk back with Alona because she was pregnant and his response and self-defense might harm her pregnancy, so he let it go. For peace and a good relationship between them, he lowered his pride.

"Fine. I apologize and I make sure that this won't happen again." Out of his nose, he says that to her. He did not mean it because he had nothing to do with her husband. He was innocent and he was the one who changed earlier because he rejected a woman who almost tried to kiss and make up with him.

"He's a changed person. He's a good husband to me now. So don't take him to clubs anymore and stop bringing girls to my husband's lap. He is not the same as before. You should change too. Look for someone to marry you when you've matured." He could see how sincere she was in what she was saying. She was very serious about what happened and it seemed like she did not want to know that her husband was going to a club and entertaining different girls. Poor Alona. He thought of that. To think he knew that Mike was the mastermind of going into the club earlier.

"This is what I wanted to ignore. I don't want to be mad at you so please don't do this again," Alona was being emotional right now. She was trying to control her feelings and not to cry right now because of mixed emotions. She was trying to control her emotions but it was hard, she does not know why but maybe it is because she was pregnant.

"I understand," that was all he could say to her at least she calmed down. She breathed in relief and smiled after hearing those words from him, she was happy because he understood her and he did not argue with her. She thanked him and left them in the living room. Mike escorted her wife until they reached their room. He watched them and waited for Mike to come back and escort him to his car.

Anger and annoyance are building in his chest now for Mike. On the last day, he promised to accompany him to Almazan's Forest, but it didn't work out because of his pregnant wife, then he asked him to go to a club with their other friends and now her wife blames him for that, and even slaps him. He could not believe what just happened for a few days that he did not go to work.

He was about to punch his friend Mike when he returned to him and after taking his wife to his room he suddenly knelt before him and begged for his forgiveness. "Forgive me, Zoren, I know I did a lot of bad things to you these past few days but please hear me out. Try to understand my situation. I'm in a tough situation and this is the only way for me to enjoy at least one night. Don't you feel sorry for me? I've been your friend for a long time."
