Chapter 1
Maria Anastacia S. Feljuo P.O.V
"Hi Tacia, they have another event," my friend Marjorie exclaimed.
"Where, Rie?" I asked with a smile. Marjorie was referring to the FTV band (Face The Victory) – Tanner, Hellion, and the most popular one, Ryker. Isaac, not known for his looks but for his aloof and private nature, strangely added to his charm.
"At Eji Refui Soledad, Tacia," she replied, sitting beside me and grabbing some food. This is where they always eat.
"Ryker posted on i********: that he'll wait for me, my love. I wonder who Anastacia?" Marjorie asked, surprised, munching on a banana.
"I'm not a fortune teller, Rie," I said, laughing. As we continued eating, we overheard a conversation.
"The hottest band in Asia, FTV, is heading to Eji Refui Soledad. What do you think, miss?" a guy asked, looking at a girl who had been smiling.
"I'm ecstatic! I'll finally see Tanner, Hellion, and my beloved Ryker," she said with a grin. Marjorie turned off the TV, maybe annoyed because she had a crush on Ryker.
"Let's get ready, Tacia. We're going to Eji Refui Soledad!" Marjorie exclaimed, rushing to her room.
"Hurry up, Tacia!" she yelled.
"Is my blush-on okay, Tacia?" Marjorie asked while looking in the mirror.
"Ask the mirror," I replied.
"Hahaha, sorry," she said, hugging me.
"I'm ready. Wake me up when we're at Eji Refui Soledad," I said, putting on my headset and closing my eyes.
"Okay, beh," she said, applying lipstick.
"Tacia, we're here!" Marjorie shouted.
"Hmm," I replied, taking off my headset.
"I'll go ahead, Tacia. I'll buy us some food first," Marjorie said and left the van.
"I'll step out for a bit; I won't be long," I said to myself, opening the van door. I saw the beautiful garden of Eji Refui Soledad. It's no wonder FTV chose this place for their concert. An old man caught my eye, heading towards the garden. I followed him, unaware that I bumped into someone.
"Sorry," I apologized while standing up.
"It's okay, please be careful," the man said, looking at me. I couldn't see his face because of his hat and face mask. I just smiled and left. As I walked, I saw an old lady standing under an acacia tree. I approached her.
"You're here, dear," the old lady said. I looked around, unsure whom she was talking to.
"I mean you, dear," she clarified. I was taken aback because I felt like I knew her.
"Hold my hand, dear," she said, offering her palm. I hesitated but eventually held it.
"You will meet Maria Anastacia again," she said, and I was blinded by light, so I closed my eyes.
