Chapter 3 Thirteen days after our first date, we had our first breakup. I was hoping it would the first and last time we do such things to one another but I was wrong. It was a sign of what was about to come and repeatedly. I couldn’t understand why Gloria arrived from work with so much anger and bitterness. I asked if it was my fault and she replied that it wasn’t, and even apologized many times.
