THE STEFEN

The train rushed along angrily. Liam took his eyes from the window and hitched himself back against the seat. He saw Regina Stephen's round pink face and cruel mouth and started to hate her. They were both moving to Texas for some important work. Liam thought about his girlfriend Anne, how much he loved her, and his important job in Texas. He felt happy. He started to read his book. After he had read half a page, Liam looked up and saw a young man sitting opposite him. The young man was very tall and thin, smiling shyly at Liam as if he did not know whether to speak. Liam moved into his seat and accidentally touched the young man's foot. 'Sorry,' Liam said. 'That's alright, do you know why the train stopped suddenly?' said the young man. 'Yeah, I know, it's because of the mechanical fault in the engine of the train,' said Liam. 'Oh, really, thanks for your help, Mr.?' 'Liam, Liam Oxemon Leviton,' said Liam. 'Nice to meet you, Mr. Liam, I am Mathew from Florida',' said Mathew. 'And you?' said Mathew. 'I am Regina Stefen, nice to meet you, Mathew,' said Regina.  'Oh nice,' said Mathew. The train starts moving at 5:20:21, 'The train was too late to arrive at the junction,' said Mathew. 'Yeah, I also think that this train will take more time to go to Texas,' said Regina. Mathew took a small bottle of whisky from his pocket and offered it to Liam with a friendly smile. 'No, thanks,' Liam said. The young man drank some of the whisky, then he asked, very politely, 'What book are you reading right now,' to Liam. 'This is about a girl and its love.' said Liam. 'Oh, ok,' said Mathew. Liam wanted to read, or to think, but he could feel this man who wanted to talk all the time looking at him. Time 8:09:56, the train stopped and Liam took a walk outside for some fresh air, but it wasn't fresh, it was hot and thick. Automatically, he reached for a cigarette, remembering for the tenth time that he couldn’t smoke as his girlfriend instructed. He went back to the train for some dinner. 'Hello!' Mathew sat down at Liam's table and called the waiter to order food. Liam was not ready to eat with Mathew. He always thinks about being alone, but here the chances are less of being alone, so he starts to eat with Mathew. After a cup of tea and a few rice items, Mathew and Liam moved into their seat. For a few moments, Liam read again. It was 9, time to sleep. Everyone is sleeping in their room. Liam was still reading the book. Mathew was bathing in his toilet when he heard a sound from the next room. Someone is screaming in that room. 'What the hell, what was the noise I heard?' blabbered Mathew. He went to the next room. There he had a surprise. The room was empty. Nobody was there. It was an unbooked ticket. He didn't know what to do, but he was sure that the noise came from that room only. He went to his room with confusion. Now it was 12:02:43. Mathew called Liam to his room. He went on a walk to Regina's room no 13. There were only 16 rooms and 7 people were traveling to Texas. Regina heard sounds from the sheets which were used to cover goods in the last compartment. Liam moves into the compartment. He slightly opens the sheets. 'What the hell is this?' Liam Shouts 'Is it blood? Mathew asked. 'Yeah, it is blood, but it did not exist long ago, it is here now.' said Liam. Liam and everybody were shocked to see the ticket collector was dead. Everyone hurries. Liam was thinking about what to do. They had to get off the train, as there was no safety there. Mathew did not want to stay there. The train was running to an old bridge that was built in 1922 by famous gangster Mr. Michael Morris for his people. He was a criminal for the police, but he was a hero to his people. The train was rushing, it was running at 145 Km/s. The train has to go at 100Km/s on the bridge. If the train goes on the bridge at the speed of 145 km/s, the bridge will be broken up. So they have to get off the train. Liam ran into the engine driver's cabin. The train went...Liam was also shocked to see the engine driver was injured. He was killed by a knife that was poked in his neck. He saw a man who was wearing a black coat trying to get up on the train through a window. Liam goes behind him. He jumped through the window and saw the man with a black coat, but nobody was there. Liam was confused when he saw a man with a black coat. The diver was alive. Liam asked him how to stop the train. He then stopped the train. It was on the old bridge. Coal has got over. Liam was confused again. Now there is no way to escape from the train. Liam carries the diver to the compartment where the others are there. Mathew comes near to the diver, he carries him. Regina asked Liam 'What is going on? 'Why are we here on the top of the bridge'? 'It was a pre-planned murder of the ticket collector by the killer. He was just trying to fear us', said Liam. 'what?' says Regina. 'There should be any connection between the killer and the ticket collector. But we do know what that connection is' asks Liam. 'Time is running out. We don't have enough time. We have to escape from this train', says Mathew. 'We have to find this one, or else we will die.' said Liam. It was 2:07:56. A lot of fog surrounded the train.
