Rekindling the fire of faith

This story is about Divine... Divine's experience circumvents relationships that have opened his eyes to a reality beyond thought grasp. He meets with Toochukwu, first, then, Maria, Jennifer, Fedora and finally settles with Mariah. Jennifer was his first love, of which the relationship lasts for nine years, but didn't work out as planned. Divine's relationship with Jennifer not working out as envisioned leaves him emotionally shattered. However, Fedora becomes an instrument of consolation, as he starts having a crush on her. Fedora loves Divine and was ready to marry him. However, she was advised not to marry Divine. Moreover, she succumbs to the advice from a pastor she meets in the course of her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). After raising his hope, by agreeing to marry him, she dashed his hope. This experience also leaves him emotionally hurt but found hope in Mariah. Finally, Divine marries, Mariah, who becomes the love of his life. Hope was restored and his hurting heart was healed. However, it was a journey that made him almost give up hope, as all indication points the contrary of the right choice. Follow Divine as he tells you his story and how he overcomes the hurdles of life through faith. This story is about Divine's experiences, journeying before and in marriage. It begins with a relationship when Divine was still tender. He gets admission into secondary school when he was 11 years old. However, before he gets admission into secondary school, he was approached by a girl named Toochukwu, who is of the same age as him. She lives in the same vicinity where he lives. Divine is a highly creative and talented, and natural-born artist. Divine's endowment was the reason for Toochukwu identifying with him. One fateful day, he gets a love letter from Toochukwu, which changed his entire orientation, as he could not imagine a girl writing to him, seeking to have a relationship with him. This spurred up his emotions and made him feel loved. It didn't stop there, he also meets with Maria through her friend, Blessing. When Divine was about 15, he dated Maria for about three years and they were really in love until... Things immediately change when Divine starts tolling the path of faith, as he was beginning to have an inner experience with something supernatural. It started with these questions in his heart 1. Who are you? 2. Where are you? 3. What are you seeking? Divine could not continue the relationship with Maria, because he feels it is affecting his spiritual commitment. Therefore, he quits... Maria was hurt, as she tries everything to ensure her relationship with Divine did not end like that... However, all effort proves abortive as Divine's mind was made up. He feels the relationship with Maria will affect his relationship with something supernatural he can't see but feels much more real than, feeling Maria. This leads him into a sacred way of life before he gets admission into the University. While Divine was in his third year at the university, he meets with a girl Jennifer and falls in love. Divine's relationship with Jennifer was a sweet ride for nine years until something suddenly changed and he lost it. Divine couldn't bear the hurt of losing Jennifer, since she was indeed the first love in his life that he almost married, having done a formal marriage introduction. However, in the course of Divine's hurtful experience with Jennifer, he meets Mariah who becomes his ray of hope. Divine, finally marries Mariah. However, the inspiration of this story has its weight hinging on Divine's experiences with Mariah, before and in Marriage and how he has grown to believe he can do anything, even the impossible if he will not give up hope. Therefore, this story covers the entire experience of the Divine before marriage and in marriage. The experiences can only be considered as extraordinary journeys to discovering purpose. However, it was never an easy road, but it was worth travelling, even as he is still travelling. Enjoy your ride, as this story will rekindle your fire of faith (HOPE). Beyond, making babies together, Divine and Mariah, discovered purpose, even as they go through trying times together, adjusting and shedding off some certain mindsets and ideologies to align with each other as husband and wife. It is a journey of love, hurts, disappointment thought of divorce, forgiveness, reconciliation, hope and victory at the end. They also realize that their marriage will never work when they allow a third party room in their marriage. However, the realisation came after they have learnt from their mistake, allowing a third party to have a strong influence on their marriage. Nevertheless, it all happened for good and they now know that third parties are not worth it, if their marriage must work.  Now that children are involved, they have to be careful, even as anger brews, they must learn to control their tongue. Enjoy your ride! I woke up this morning been 15 October 2015 at about 3:56 am and was led to observe my quiet time which has always been my usual routine. I started studying by the leading of the spirit and in the course of studying; I started meditating on Proverbs chapter 8. While I was studying and meditating, I caught in the impulse that resounds in the heart of my heart as, “marriage: watch it!” To me, it does not make sense at that instance, but swiftly Proverbs 3:5 and 6 pop up into my mind. Can you observe something with the time I woke up and the Scripture that was impressed in my mind? The Scriptural Chapter and Verses explain the time and I have come to understand the program codes that drives my life is built into time and time communicates mysteries to me and this particular is calling for wisdom which is profitable direct…. Moreover, during this period, I was in a critical stage in my life, left confused in a valley of decision, left alone in between mountains of indecision, concerning my relationship that I would not want to let go of anything. So I got writing, even as I was been led, as the inspiration kept flooding and streaming in…. it was uncontrollable. l just kept writing, not even thinking. It was clear to me that I was only a medium under an influence of the Holy Spirit. God’s inspiration (revelation knowledge) will never make sense to you until you just follow even as you are been led. I have come to the knowledge of this reality from personal experiences and study that our 21st-century generation is a privileged generation and a generation at risk. We are in the era of the New Age Movement where there is the propagation of unique concepts of marriage, far from the usual. In addition, these concepts have placed our generation at risk. We are in a generation where everything seems permissible. You can even choose to get involved with animals. It is a generation of deteriorating moral standards, driven by lusts. Genesis 3: 1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field, which the LORD God has made. And He said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, “You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” The deception is subtly subtle and self-appeasing, such that you can hardly keep yourself from its influence if you do not submit your will to God. The moment you are born into this world, you will start experiencing things. The things you will experience will tend to tune your mindset. When you do have not the right mindset your mind will be reset from its default setting and by so doing, you will end up constantly struggling to go through, and the more you try, the more difficult life will seem to become, even in your relationship. My relationship was a revelation. #Nothing changes, what changes is our mindset which will certainly affect our method of applying knowledge, and will responsively have a strong effect on things and it will appear as if things are changing# There is a time that we must adequately utilize for things to fall aright in place. This is because time lost could hardly be regained. The understanding of the time gives you the consciousness to search into the knowledge of the truth (John 8:32) and this will lead you to discover your purpose. We are operating with time and we do not even have all the time. As youths, we are in the time to plan and plan well, if we must get it right and make it. It is a time of distractions and we only need the grace of God to be able to go through and overcome and the grace of God can only be accessed when we are dead to self (what we think we know). The reality of the time spans beyond our knowledge…it is in His knowledge. There is time for everything and we must learn to understand the times and seasons by inclining our heart to the Word of God and depending on His grace. Time calls for planning and planning calls for strategizing and if you don’t plan to succeed, you are invariably planning to fail even in your relationship. Ecclesiastes 3: 1- 8 To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born and a time to die A time to plant and a time to pluck what is planted A time to kill and a time to heal A time to breakdown and a time to build-up A time to weep and a time to laugh A time to mourn and a time to dance A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones A time to embrace and a time to refrain from A time to keep and a time to lose A time to tear and a time to sew A time to keep silent and a time to speak A time to love and a time to hate A time of war and a time of peace Ecclesiastes 11:9, 10 Rejoice, o young man in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes, but know that all these, God will bring you into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh for childhood and youth are vanity. The only way you can remove sorrow from your heart is to obey God and total obedience to God brings blessings upon your life. Remember, the blessings of the Lord makes you rich and adds no sorrow to it. Change places risk… Especially biological changes could change the course of a youth’s reasoning and would want to dance to the existing music of the time. I have from experience discovered that, at the post-adolescence stage in life, most youths, if not all, tend to relate much more with the opposite s*x, not even knowing the implication and when exposed to situations that prompt their hormones, causing them to unavoidably indulge in acts which could be detrimental to their future. Proper education is very important at this stage of life. • Who is your teacher? • What are you been taught? At the adolescence stage, there is rebellion raging. Youths at this stage tend to want to become independent…. Wanting things done in their ways, not wanting anybody to come in between their opinions and anyone who interferes will receive strict resistance. It is a stage of self-willed. Proverbs 4: 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.
