Tom warned us about booby traps and concealed or well-placed trip wires, the like, in the tunnels and the basement. He said, "The perp has shown us a capability and a cunning that means he booby trapped both the tunnels and the basement. We know where the entries are. What we don"t know is whether there are bombs placed there or further into the tunnels for example. I think it would be wise if bomb unit personnel in the proper protective clothing lead the way into those places."
Findlay spoke out and said, "It would make my confidence a lot better about going into the north tunnel if we had someone who would recognize booby traps. I have no experience in that area at all."
