Witches have a plan

I woke up after an hour of sleep which i definitely needed after all the stuff that happened since last night.

I look at the phone,i have two missed calls from my uncle and a message from alex letting me know that he is back with the witch and he didn’t want to disturb my sleep so will met in living room when I’m awake.

I text him that i will be downstairs in 20 minutes. I grab a pair of black jeans,a t-shirt with black hearts on it and my lovely Puma sneakers,after i’m already dressed i pulled my hair in a ponytail and take a last look in the mirror .

Stepping on the stairwell i smelled fresh bacon and eggs , that’s definitely Alex cooking..i mean he eats bacon and enggs like all the time ..God boy he loves it .

-Hei guys , what’s up? Alex has his back on me and Ryan which seems to be concentrate on his phone

-Hey girl!! Alex said with his mouth full of bacon

-Hey Cali , how are you now ? can tou tell us now what happened last night? Carlos seems a little worried and he just get back from patrolling

-yeah , i will but first i need to talk with the witch ..where's she by the way ? not seeing her here make's me wonder what she does right now

-She had go to take a shower but she'l be here any minute by now. Alex said and the witch is already coming downstairs .

i turn around to face her ,as i open my mouth to speak with her a growl was out from Ryan's mouth.

What was that ? i ask him

-Sorry Alpha, but before you talk to Ellie , i wanted to tell you that she is my mate . he's face was now all red and if i'm not wrong , which i'n not i think that he already marke her .

-Oh , good to know ..i can see that you already marke her .I'm happy for you .i said to him as i turn my face to Ellie.

-Amm, yes Alpha .Elenor Silva more exactly .She bows her head making me laught .Now she was staring at me like i just have two heads

So, Ellie my uncle told me to find you because you know what might happend around here . If you guys are done eating i would like to go in the coference room and have this conversation privetly .

after i told them about that demon and the fact that Alpha Dylan is a pain in the ass like his father , coming here using the mate bond with witches help, Ellie already had an ideea of what might be going on , Alex was piseed because he left me alone and he wasan't here to beat the crap of that alpha .

So guys , pull youreself togheter ..it happend already so no need to stres about that , we need to figure out how fix these problems ; i said looking at them and Ellie was just about to say something .

-From what i know from my covent is that the prophecy it's working her ways, i know it's about to happend soon so that's why the demons are on you're territory ..the bad part is that they will work with anybody who hate you just to take you down ..i know for certain that they want a war and blood bath , they will do everything to make that happend ..as about the witches playing with the mate bond ..eventually they will finde a way to make it work so you need to be carreful and don't let you're guard down ..and if you finde you're mate just trust the bond .. nothing can fake the mate bond ..not even witches can be so good . She said looking at me with a warm smile .

ok then .. so in which problem you can help is Ellie?

- i can help in both , but the problem with the mate bond will take longer because i don't know the witch who is doing all this things.

-Do you have any ideea how to finde her ? Ryan asked her ,looking at me .

-Well i think i can do a spell to locate her ..but for that i need something from the person who was spell..do you think that you might have something from him ?

-and what about the demons ? they will come back ..should we alerted the pack ? Alex said looking at Carlos who seems to be in his toughts .

-Sorry Alpha , but i was thinking how can we defend ourselfs from them if we can't see them ..you seem to be the only one who can see them .. .Well i didin't tought about that , that's a good question ..just thinking about it i feel shiver thro my spine ..like someone was near me , whatching me ..I snap out of it ,looking at the boys

-well we have half of the plans and for now will increase the patrolls , mandatory training twice a day , even the pups who are older than 6, we will prepear with medical supplies and hope that the demons come alone not with help .. at list in the next few weeks until we have more information and talk with my uncle ..and probably ask for help from the packs around us .. I was looking at the window now .. it was already night ..they need a break and Ellie defently a good sleep .

we are the biggest pack on the continent ..but not everyone know how to defend or fight ..i had never thought that something like that will come up on us .

i was sitting in my office when Alex came in..i already know that he is about to lecture my about what happened with the demon and that wannabe alpha.

He was standig know on the couch scratching his back looking at me with his puppy eyes

-i told you i can handle without you .. it's not like i need a babysitter all the time . I said looking at him while we both started laughin

I missed you , i'm glad that you are back and safe . he was now in socked,we usually don't say to each other things like "deep feelings" but i needed him to know that is a big part o my life .

-Wow , that's something new even for you Cali .. but yeah i missed you to . Now i was sitting in his lap on the couch ,he was playing with my hair like my dad used to do ..i missed them so much

I don't know about my feelings for Alex .. it's like a brother to me but sometimes even more .. he knows me so well but i bearly know only half of him .

sometime i had wished him to be my mate but ..the Moon Goddess always have other plans ,i'm not sure if i will find my mate mostly because i don't leave the pack territory ..but giving the circumstances i don't want to meet him , haveing to deal with the bond and saving my peopels lifes from this stupid prophecy and all the enemies who want power and war it's going be hard enought.

while he said this he was giving me a smirk and his eyes were sparkling

i was sitting in bed , after seems like hours i couldn't sleep so now i'm headed to kitchen , i need a snack ..or a juice maybe a glass of milk ..heck i don't know what i want.

Now i'm eating a yogurt with strowberry flavour and cheking the tv programs but i don't find anything intersting , i'm about to turn it off when i feel a breez around me , i think my mind it's playing tricks on me again it's the same feeling like i had during the meeting ,someone or something suerly watched me .

I throw the rest of the yogurt in trash can and heading back to my room when accidentaly i run into Ellie .

Now i was staring at her with wide eyes

i was sitting on the edge of the bed and Alex came in my thoughts..i need him ,his touch ,his love .

In a flash i was at his door ,knocking softly a few times..he surely is tired but i don't care i want him now !

- i'm coming ! his voice was sounding in my head like a melody

-Hey , Cali it's something wrong ? he was looking at me with wide eyes ,studying me from up and down after which he smiled .

I felt my words beeing a pain for him , even i am hurt right know because i realized that i love him and even when he watches me leave i felt my skin burn under his eyes , this feels like mate bond but i already know that for us is not the case .

I’m back in my bedroom already crying ..why i'm acting like this ? What is wrong with me ?

I prepared my tub with hot water and some bubble bath will help me relax ..i hope .

I was leanning in the hot water , thinking back at the way i feel about him , i can't get him out of my head ;Kira was happy now , she even wishpered that he should mark her , she probably is getting confused because she always told me that is wrong to have s*x with someone else if it isn't our mate . I get out of the tub and getting my pajamas and throwing myself in bed ..i need a good sleep ..like 24 hours will be enough..well not in this life anyway .

I had a good sleep eventually last night , now it was 5 a.m and i should be on the training field with the rest of the pack, but i didn't wanted to go because i know that Alex will be there which it will make me feel sorry about my reaction from last night especially i didn't let him to answer me back.

Now I look in the closet for a bustier and a pair of sports pants, I find a red bustier from Nike and a pair of black pants with white lines and of course another pair of colorful sneakers, before I change, I take a short shower, catch my hair in a bun and get dressed to leave the room.

When I get to the living room I see Ellie sitting at the table staring blankly, I look at my watch and I see that I still have 20 minutes until I have to start training.

I stop next to her after I get a bottle of water

-Hey Ellie, how are you? Did you get along well here?

-Oh, hello Cali! Yes, I feel great and Ryan helped me a lot by telling me about the history of the pack.

I feel my phone vibrating and a message appears on the screen "Cali, we need to talk, call me as soon as possible", the message is from my uncle .. oh damn I forgot to call him! I just slapped myself mentally because I'm so forgetful.

I wonder if I could talk to Ellie about what happened between me and Alex, it's probably not my brightest idea but I'll try anyway because I'm left with no choice as to what I could do in this situation.
