Prologue
Gunpowder and Oil, it was all I could smell since I moved back to the small town of Moffett. Located right along the Arkansas river to be exact. Now let me tell you, I had expected the musty river smell to be back in my nose, or the funky smell of Fort Smith; but instead all I received instead was the heavenly smell of gunpowder and oil. I was back here with my best friend and my soulmate, she had been with me through everything. Of course I love her, but not in the way you may think. Honestly soulmates are more than just lovers! .....
Sitting in the window, she was nose deep in her book. Occasionally looking up to write a few things down in her note book. Her black cherry hair shined purple in the sunshine. It was starting to get colder: the smell of fall everywhere. Beautiful oranges and reds covered the trees, it was her favorite time of year. Of course it was only September, so it was strange for Oklahoma to already be these colors but it sure was nice. She pushed her glasses back on her nose, she never thought she was much to look at. She was thicker, curves in the right places. Her br**st pushed up, while she didn't need the extra padding; she enjoyed how huge her chest looked. Being only a D had it's advantages.
She looked up as her best friend pushed open her door, "Come onnnn let's go get lunch!" The skinnier girl whined, her dark brown hair was tucked neatly behind her ears. It was short, barley to the bottom of her ears. Fable hated long hair. "Fable I am almost done with this chapter. Finals are coming up!" The girl in the window giggled. "Yeah in two semesters, plus we have Tokyo in Tulsa tomorrow come on!" Fable whined again. With an eye roll, she reluctantly closed her psychology book. Fable squealed, "Heck yes! Come on Ari!" She pulled her up, the girls baggy hoodie covered the shorts she wore making it look like she had nothing else on. Ari shook her head, a smile on her plump lips. "Let me get my card I guess then." She giggled as she grabbed her phone, thank god for wallet cases! Ari grabbed her card looking back at Fable who was wearing jean shorts she had rolled a bit and a tank top. She wore her wolf fang necklace everywhere they went.
After that day when they were 10 when they saw that giant wolf up in the mountains visiting Fables nana, they felt more drawn to that item. Ari had a bracelet of leather she'd found that day. They swore it was their best friend items. Pulling Ari along, Fable grabbed the keys to her red 2007 Mazda 6. She was more proud of that car than her boyfriend, who had been after her for years. Ari looked longingly at her best up black Dodge, diesel wasn't exactly the best option right now being as the prices went up. $3.75 just for a gallon of the fuel, so her truck remained parked for the minute. They had a comfy apartment in the town of Roland; only a few miles from Fort Smith but almost 4 hours away from where they were going tomorrow.
Buckling up they made their way to Fort Smith, "We should go to Al's." Ari felt her mouth starting to water, Fable nodded. "Yes but then to that sushi place in Van Buren, I am DYING for a Van Buren roll!" The girls laughed. Ari had missed this all those years. It had been 6 years since she had lived near Fable, and now they were finally able to be near each other! It was the greatest! While yes she missed her family, she was 22 now. It was time to be on her own. Her blue eyes looked out the window and she found herself watching a group of extremely hot men on motorcycles. One in particular caught her eye, he was muscular but had the dad bod that drove women nuts. His beard was thick and a beautiful russet color; his hair short almost shaved off. His arms and hands covered in tattoos.
Ari felt her mind wondering what else was tattooed on that man, she found it hard to breath all of a sudden, before she realized his green eyes were locked onto hers. Oh my god they were at a red light! She felt her cheeks going a deep pink, why couldn't Fable's windows be tinted? The man gave her a toothy grin, her heart fluttered. Butterflies filling her stomach, she forced herself to look away when the light turned green. She was hoping Fable truly hadn't noticed, but given the large girl on her best friends face. Oh yeah she noticed. Groaning, Ari slunk lower in the seat.
"Hey man I saw that!" One of the men laughed, punching the bearded guys arm. He just laughed, "She was kinda hot not gonna lie. I like those kinds of girls...they're always the ki-" He was cut off by an older man clearing his throat. "Reaper, Twice. Get your act together. We aren't here for woman." Reaper, the bearded guy, and Twice, a skinny man with a goatee both nodded, "Yes Pres, our apologies." They said in unison. "My lord though, when I saw her all I could smell was Diesel and vanilla. It was the best scent ever." Reaper groaned a bit shaking his head. The club looked at him, a few held cocky grins. "Sounds like Prospect is in love." The old man grunted, "Let's go boys. We need to get to the new club house. The Fort Smith charter needs to happen tonight. Please be on your best behavior." "Scout, I want you to take Turbo and go get some beers." The pres told his Sergeant in arms. Scout nodded, he and Turbo taking off to find the nearest liquor store. "Reaper." The pres looked at him seriously, "Keep it in your pants. We don't need any unwanted attention right now." Reaper nodded, putting his sun glasses back on.
Rusty Hounds MC was finally branching to Arkansas. The Hounds we're finally free and getting bigger. No one had even suspected a thing.
