An order

Aerona could feel everything else in the room shift past her but not herself, she appeared to be the only thing in the room that was stagnant at that moment and apparently she was. "Aerona!" Celeste called for the fourth time and had to swipe her before she jilted back to reality. Everyone was in the room right where they had been as her eyes took everything in, in just one look. The two warlocks were at the back whispering words about what had happened and Iona was with her mother standing close to the table. "You appeared in thought, are you fine?" Celeste asked. Aerona could sense she was trying to stay calm as the news they dropped right there on the table was very devastating. "I am fine, I was just shocked by the news ." Aerona muttered her little white lie. She was shocked quite alright, but fine and far from what she was feeling, she could feel something choking out her heart and ripping it off her chest. Could it be anxiety? Or rather perhaps fear… So far the best thing was no one was giving her any suspecting glances. Iona last words though: We suspect someone helped them out. Flickered through her mind as he wondered how she got to be with that bit of information. "Have you been to the dungeon?" Celeste asked, turning to Iona. " No, not yet. I just decided to come tell you first." She replied. " How in the hell did those men get out?" Celeste said, pondering. " I thought about the same thing as well, I was still having dinner when they came with this." The sound of the keys sounded as Iona dropped them on the table. Aerona's eyes widened, she could remember perfectly how the night had gone after she got the doors opened. She had been so distracted with getting the door opened and getting them away that she left the key right there still stuck in the keyhole. It had been in her mind to go back and get the key but it had completely slipped her mind to go back and get it. "I thought you kept the keys?" Celeste said. "Thought so as well, and I can't remember ever losing it for a minute throughout the day." Iona replied. Celeste appeared to be deep in thought as she paced the length of the room. She couldn't be more shocked by wherever Lona had said. "Leave us alone." Celeste said, turning to the rest of the people that were in the room. They all walked out, including Aerona who walked out slowly. A lot of thoughts drifted away in her mind as it appeared as though she was weighing how heavy her heart was at the moment. For a minute she thought about waiting to eavesdrop but for the men that were standing close as well as guarding the door she took one look at them before turning and heading toward her room. ********************************* She could literally feel her heart beating lightly in a wild dance, a bleak reminder of what the previous day had been. All that trickled down her mind was what the women were probably talking about in the dining. Her hand rubbed her temple as she banged her hands against the bed in fury, raising the little bit of dust that had settled before falling with her back and muffling her screams with a pillow. She stared at the orange, mesmerizing light. The sheer curtains blew in the light breeze, as the sun rays cast a soft glow of her shadow against the wall of her room. It was a bitter mistake she had made, forgetting those keys and now she was biting herself deep for doing that. What was I thinking of… The sound of voices filling the hallway soon enough leaked under her door as she walked carefully reaching for the knob and peeping through the door. She could make out most of the people around as she had seen their faces around the castle a couple of times. There was one way all this would end, Aerona knew, without doubt, her mother would have the keys investigated of course as it stood Iona was the suspect at the moment till when it is proven otherwise which looked definite. Quietly, her thought became a distant memory similar to the night couple of hours ago She sat with my legs folded against her side in a seat by the window with a book of spells lying on the arm. Aerona hadn’t read more than two pages until she'd given up and rested her head against the chair and stared at the trees filling the wildwood. Zayn was there somewhere she didn't know, she tried to think about what he could be doing at this moment. She knew well beyond doubt that he was well away from here … Probably back in his pack, deep down in her heart she wishes he wouldn't forget her and would come back just as he had promised. Aerona must have been falling asleep as the book clattered to the ground and unraveled across the red oriental rug. A sharp pain in her stomach reminded her that she left her meal halfway and now she was starting to feel hungry again. She walked to the kitchen as fast as she could hoping she would bump into someone that would make a meal for her. The dining door was still shut and she could hear heavy voices behind the door that was becoming louder until she needed silence. It wasn’t even about the keys anymore, It was about words unsaid and a truth that was looking to be unraveled very soon. Like a hard shell, her mind shielded away the truth about everything. It couldn’t be cracked without heavy tools that would have lowered the barrier that bared a part of her not many had seen—a part that felt. A vulnerable part that is capable of falling in love with Zayn. She was not sure if her mother knew how her heart had been exposed, she wasn’t sure Why had Zayn Ryder seen that side? Maybe it was because his indifference made her believe he didn’t want to take advantage of her just like the men her mother had talked to her about. Her eyes shot up with the click of the Dinning hitting her ears, and, as if her thoughts had conjured it. Her gaze came up from the floor and she saw the two warlocks she had seen earlier walking toward the kitchen having spotted her, her breath fell short for a second she thought they were going to just walk past her but then turned into the kitchen where she was. "What do you need?" Aerona asked as soon as they walked in. " Your mother requests your presence." One of the warlocks said "Tell her I will come after eating." Aerona replied. " She asked that we come with you immediately, it is very important that you do." It seemed to her more like a force than a request.
