Two Birds One Stone

Chapter 8

After breakfast we all head to the living room. Luca sits in the chair while Aj and I sit across the room on the couch. Aj turns the TV on and we all spend the rest of the morning watching TV.

About 3 hours later Luca's phone rings. He gets up and answers it. After a few moments later he hangs up and sets his phone back down on the counter. He sits back down in the spot he was sitting in beforehand and looks at us. "That was the manager at the company I applied for a job at. They were just calling to notify me that I got the job!" He says, his face lighting up. Aj and I jump up in shock.

"CONGRATS!!" Aj and I yell together. I run over to Luca and hug him.

" This calls for a celebration. My treat." Aj states. Everyone gets up and starts to get ready. I head to my room to get into the shower. While in the shower I heard a knock on the door.

"Yea. What do you need?" I yell back as I turn the water off and grab for my towel. I start to dry myself off as I wait for the reply.

“I have a gift for you when you're done getting ready. I'll be in the living room waiting.” He states. A few seconds later I hear the door to my room close. I hurry up and finish drying off and get straight to work on getting dressed. I throw a black mini skirt on with a blue long sleeve crop top. I then blow dry and straighten my hair and do my makeup. I did a black and blue faded eyeshadow look with winged eyeliner. Once that's finished I walk out of the bathroom and put my black heels on.

When I walk out to the living room I see Aj and Luca sitting on the couch talking about something. “I'm ready whenever you guys are,” I say, gaining their attention. Aj got up nodding.

“Ok I just have to go grab something from my room real fast.” He says as he starts walking in the direction I just came from.

“Ok well I'm going to go start the car and wait out there for you.”Luca says while grabbing the keys to Aj's car and heading to the garage. I stay and wait for Aj. It takes him a few seconds before reappearing in the living room.

“I wanted to give this to you as a symbol of my love.” He says as he hands me a bracelet with our initials on it. I give him my wrist so he can put it on.

“Awwww babe. I love it!” I say, kissing him on the cheek. I grab his hand and we walk out to the garage to join Luca in the car.

Happy Valentines Day everyone. I'm sorry for not updating as soon as what I would have liked. Unfortunately I have not had the very best few months but hopefully that is going to change and I will be able to update more.
