Mallory started to attack another goblin, lowering her wand when two arrows took it out.
One of the arrows landed beneath the tile, preventing it from sitting flat, and Ryan lifted the corner of the tile so he could take the arrow. Stepping back, he held it out to Danae, waiting until she took it before he spun and attacked a goblin with his sword.
Mallory lost track of how many goblins they’d taken out. It was hard when she was focused on fighting them rather than keeping count. She was about to ask Callum how much longer, when he spoke.
“Four more to take out before we reach the gap we created by holding off on taking out the three.” Callum put the pocket watch in his belt pouch and readied his bow.
