Jax POV
I froze when the word ‘mate’ left Julian. Since I was standing slightly behind him, I couldn’t see the look on his face.
Was he serious?
I looked at the girl he was staring at. She looked to be in shock as she stared back at Julian.
For a moment, everyone stopped moving, registering what the heck just happened.
“This is glorious news.”
I almost jumped when the Bluetree Alpha spoke, and I saw him grinning at Thomas.
“It looks like our children are mates.” He beamed.
Thomas glanced at me and my heart stopped as fear took over and tears welled up in my eyes.
“Jax, go back inside.” Thomas said.
I tried to turn around, but my feet refused to move. Julian turned to me, and I could see a storm of emotions in his eyes.
“Go back inside.” He whispered.
I turned and ran
