Klaxons wailed through the station as security officers ran about and civilians dashed to their designated safe places where escape shuttles were put on standby. Jack entered the operations centre of the station.
“Captain, we have several D’Shraki vessels approaching, the EPDS ANZAC is heading back to the fall-back position and has contacted the other three warships in the closest sectors.”
“Well, looks like they finally found us, I guess it was only a matter of time until they did, what with the merchants we’ve been getting recently.” He muttered angrily.
“Nothing to be done about it now Captain, we did need the merchants and their wares.” His second informed him. Jack nodded agreement.
