JACK PILOTED THE SHUTTLE towards the Warmonger, Zara sitting nervously beside him, her hands trembling and fidgeting.
Jack never said a word to her the entire way there.
Four D’Shraki soldiers greeted them.
“There is no need to collar or chain me, I come willingly to my lord’s side.” Zara said to them as they went to place a collar around her neck.
“Very well, come with us.” The head guard rumbled behind his helmet.
Zara stepped through the airlock which cycled shut behind them, Jack disengaged from the Warmonger and headed back towards the station.
It seemed that they were keeping their end of the bargain as the D’Shraki ship’s turned and disappeared using their Faster than Light speed drives. Jack hoped the crewman’s plan would work.
