Zara had left the EPDS ANZAC a few years after the destruction of earth, along with a few hundred other displaced Humans.
They had found work in places where other aliens were unable to go, some found work in the dangerous mines, or the scrapyards, trying to get what credit they could to send back food and supplies for the convoys as they shifted about, constantly on the move trying to get away from the D’Shraki hired bounty hunters who searched for slaves to sell.
She had found work as an engineer’s mate on a small trader ship known as “Sokacalav” which in English was translated roughly to “The Lucky Quasar’. Which often was used in the black market for smuggling rare items.
