NEW BEGINNINGS
The house stood beautifully in the big courtyard, surrounded by a beautiful garden that made the house even more magical. She admired the house and imagined the life she could build here. All she had ever hoped for had finally made it way to her and she loved every second of it. It took her a while to get away from that old life she had but she made it and she never wanted to look back.
"Are we going to ever go inside" her husband asked as he came walking towards her with box in his hand." Its ours. you'll have plenty of time to admire it". She looked at him, smiling brightly as if he was life itself. "I'm aware of that but a girl can dream". She followed him to the door with the keys ready in her hand. As she turned the keys in the lock, she knew that after she entered this house her life will never be the same.
As spectacular as the house was outside, it was nothing compared to the inside. As soon as the door open, she was greeted by the beautiful living room. The floors were covered in dark blue nylon carpet that ran through the house. It made the house bright and cozy in an inviting way. She had hired an interior decorator to design the whole house, she hadnt seen it until now. In a way she was sadden because she was too tired to take in all its beauty. She and her husband had had a rough day and all she wanted to do was rest her feet. She turned to her husband,"can we unpack tomorrow, my legs are falling off". He laughed at her complain and left her up bridal style and took her to their new bedroom. " Do you think we'll be happy here?" she asked her husband as they lay in bed."Absolutely, my love". He kissed her forehead as a good night.
Celeste Windlow had always been a girl with with big drromieeams and aspirations.Living with her parents down in the country made her feel ashamed of her life. She loved her mother and father and all seven siblings but she knew she wanted more. Celeste didn't want to just continue her parents legacy of living on farm, spending her days tending to farm animals. She wanted the big life the city life the kind that her aunt told her about everytime she came to visit her dear sister. Aunt Mavis Deenave was her favorite aunt amongst the other five that her father blessed her with. Aunt Mavis was someone she admired, She toured cities, going everywhere that meant it would make her new friends or spark new opportunities. Celeste admire her beautiful gowns that she would wear everytime she came to visit. Aunt mavis would tell her about all the extavagant places that she visted and would also bring back gifts for her. Once Aunt Mavis brought her back a necklace from one of her trips. It was a gold necklace that was shaped in the form of a Hollyhock flower. She adored this gift because it was day her aunt promised her that as soon as she had turned eighteen she would take her to live with her in Cedar Ridge. A county with her aunt lived when she wasn't travellimg the world.
The sunlight rays beamed in her eyes as the morning started. Celeste opened her eyes and was greeted with walls of Marigold wallpaper. It was her first moring in her new life, She then turned to look at her hsuband who was still asleep. She gazed at his sleeoing body and admired his features. His skin was like a caramel, his body was layed out expositing his muscles,She lightly traced her hands over his biceps trying not to wake him. Carlos Feidman was now her husband, she never dreamed that one day this would be her view in the morning;Of course she did, she knew all her dreams would come through the day she met him at the restauarnt. That was the moment her life turned around. She snapped back from letting her thoughts wonder. She kissed him on his cheek and got out of bed. She rubbed her hands together, an action that brought her comfort; put on her slippers and robe and went downstairs. As she stepped on the first step to go downstairs, she couldn't help but admire the beauty of the house. On the wall there were pictures of her rather painting that were gifted to her on her wedding day. She trailed her fingers over them, aborbing the work that was put into the them.
Celeste then went into the kitchen to start making breakfast. She stood at the window looking at her new neighbourhood. She knew it was different from Cedar Ridge because all the houses had beauty gardens in front and as she scanned every house her eyes could see she noticed that the house number was on the right of door. She thought it was oddly organized and they all looked the same. Her husband had bought her the house as a surprise, She did not get to have a say in the area that the house was brought. She was still grateful and opened to the new environment. The streets were clean and bright, it had its own aura just as slient. She looked at her clock which was placed on the dining table. It was 6:30am. No wonder everthing was so silent. It now came to her that she hadn't been grocery shopping, even if she wanted to eat there was no food in the house.
Few moments late, she was dressed in a floral dressn and her favourite pair of Silver stilletos, her gold watch paired with her wedding ring and beautiful charm braclet. With her purse in her hand she approached the car, she noticed she had forgotten the keys. She let out a fustrated sigh and turned on her heels and went back inside to grab the keys.
As drove down the roadway she thought to herself it was a good way to know more about the place they called Silvercrest. it was sunday after all and by the looks of it a peaceful sunday. She drove, not missing a single detail of the road, she looked at all the building which almost looked the same with subtle differences, only someone with a good eye can be able to distingush. One thing that she was pleased with is that they were lots of flowering trees, Celeste loved trees. she thought of them as her peacemaker. When she used to live with her parents she had a favourite spot that she would go and clear her thought. It wasn't to far from her house but it was just far enough. Her father told he that he had planted that tree the day after she was born. In a way, she felt she had grown with the tree almost like twin. Her memories were invaded when she finally reached the area where seemed to have what she was looking for. She looked out her window looking for parking. She spoted one and headed for it.
