Watching liberty float in the air and the light surrounding her as bright as the sun I had to shield my eyes from the glare. I felt the room shake around me and my body froze to the spot where I stood. My legs felt heavy in their place and I glanced at Milo unconscious on the floor, and my heart ached to be able to be near him, hold him and whisper everything was going to be okay twisting my stomach in knots. As the light grew brighter the intensity of it hit my body and I couldn’t help whimper at the pain that shot through me. I cried out but no voice came, I could hear my heart pound in my chest as my legs trembled from the vibrations that smashed into me.
