As I laid battered and bruised in the boot of Jake's car I allowed my tears to fall as my heart shattered inside me. I could feel the despair flood through me and the ache to be with him destroyed, I could hear the murmurs in my head that were echoes of his hateful words flooding through me making me tremble each time.
I have never seen such hate in someone's eyes before and here I was facing death and asI remembered he said he would enjoy it if I screamed in pain.
The words he said swirled around my gut making bile rise in my throat as my heart beat faster and I was left in the unknown cold, damp space of despair
