I watched as Alpha Jenkins walked towards me with a murderous look, I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat at the fear I felt inside.
“Alpha Jenkins”, I managed to say confidently even though I didn’t feel it.
“I see you have met my Healer”, he said tilting his head in acknowledgement.
“You are mistaken,” I said with fury in my heart at the coldness that this man emanated.
He titled his head and looked baffled.
