LOVE AT FIRST SITE

CHAPTER 6

Love can be complicated at times but if you find someone that loves you deeply don't let doubt ruin what you feel for the other person, love deeply like you've never done before .

What KB told me really bothered me to be honest , i couldn't sleep was just turning on my bed after every second , I couldn't let it slide that's why I asked Kayla to ask Bry if he knows anything about what KB was gonna tell me but she was blank or rather that's what she told me.

I kinda slept off on it ,

Babe?❤: Good morning babe, how's your morning couldn't stop thinking of you most of the night.

KB really does put a smile on my face.

Me: Good morning too, my morning is quite fulfilling I guess, me on the other hand can't stop thinking of yesterday, you really got me thinking about what you want us to talk about.

Babe?❤: i know I really shouldn't have approached that topic like that given by your over thinking skills but don't worry its nothing to worry let alone it being a big deal.

Me: okay, it better be,

Babe?❤: yeah, I promise, talk to you later gotta head to church, and hope you are too.

Me: yeah, of course.

And that's how our conversation ended, at least he assured me, and I really didn't want to overthink about it.

I went to church with mum and Jamie, got back from church, took take away from the nearby hotel got back home ate our lunch and the rest of the day just went by me being in my room watching series back to back until I got sleepy and my eyes couldn't take any of it and slept off until morning .

Today is the day I'm meeting with KB and I'm kinda nervous but there's nothing to worry. I'm calling Kayla to come and get me out of the house.

She picked the call on the second ring.

"Hey, kay, how are you doing , wassup"

"I'm good I just want you to come up with some excuse and get me out of the house , I need to see KB "

"you can just tell her you are coming at mine, I'm sure she won't say no"

"will that really work"

"trust me babe, it will"

"okay, thanks, my genius babe"

"Anytime"

The minute I ended the call KB was already on the line.

"hey,babe, I'm sorry didn't call or text earlier, how are doing, "

"its fine babe, I'm good, how about you "

"I'm good too, how's everything, are you down with our deal or it'll be hard for you to come outside"

"Actually,I'm just gonna dress up and tell mum I'm going to see Kayla, I'm not sure she'll agree but I'm hoping she does"

"okay ,then I'll come pick you up at your gate at around eleven okay, I hope that's okay with you "

"yeah,its okay, I'll keep time"

"okay, see you then "

Convincing mum wasn't that hard she let me go blindly , i found KB waiting at the gate as he had promised.

"You seem nervous and scared at the same time, I told you its not really a bad thing trust me"

He told me while rubbing my thigh up and down gently. I sucked in a deep breath to release the tension inside of me.

" I hope so, you can just tell me now you know "

"I can but I don't want to, let's get where we are going first"

"okay"

" huh, just okay, aren't you gonna insist I tell you"

"I can, but I don't want to"

I replied the same reply he gave me but in my case it was sarcastic.

He's now holding my hand soothingly and kissed it

"please don't get mad, we are almost there anyway"

I sucked in a low breath before giving him an answer.

"I'm not mad and how do you expect me to react when you just hide things from me"

"What?,, I'm not hiding anything thats why I asked to talk"

" okay, fine, I'm patient"

The ride is silent except for the few murmuring of him rapping on polo G song, which is awkwardly soothing .

" we are here"

I didn't realize I had fallen asleep until he tried waking me up, did even realize we had come to a stop.

"Its a surprise, and I have to blind fold you, can I "

I just nodded I didn't want to make him feel bad more than he was.

" just follow my lead I'm gonna lead you to where we are going , okay "

"okay"

We walked quiet a distance though not too far when we came to a stop and I heard him struggling with the keys on the door .

" We are here babe, I'm gonna count to three then you'll open the blind fold"

I nodded and just waited for his signal .

" okay we are on, one,, two,, three,, open now"

The moment I opened my eyes , Kayla and, Bry were on sight already and they said Surpriseeeee in a loud voice full of happiness.

I took in the sight infront of me, the gold and white chandelier the paintings, black cabinets and the perfect white color for the walls, this place really looks amazing tears started rolling down my cheeks voluntarily but I wiped it off as fast as they came out.

"Uh,, do you like the place?"

KB asked being cautious to not trigger me from not liking the place.

I turned to face him and took in his cute face.

"I love the place so much, its perfect"

Relief washed over them with my answer, you could tell by the way they released their breath the moment I answered.

"you got us there for a moment,"

Bry said to me

I just gave him a slight smile.

" I'm glad you do, before I bought the apartment I thought you wouldn't love it, but I'm glad you do"

KB said relief washing over him again

"hey"

I moved closer to him and held his hands in mine,

"I love it here already"

with that I let go one of his hand and held his cheek softly and tenderly to feel his soft skin, he looked me straight to my eyes and kissed me. And because Kayla is Kayla he had to cut that moment short.

"You better do that in the bedroom its right on your left KB"

We just laughed it off .

"Let's eat guys I'm hungry"

Bry said and is already walking at the dinning area and we both followed his lead.

Eating while catching up with the best people in the world is really therapeutic, I feel so blessed to have these same people to call whenever I need anything.

"Hey, you feeling okay, you seem so spaced out"

KB startled me I didn't hear what he said audibly but I just answered him anyway

"yeah, I'm good"

"Okay,I hope so"

I just smiled to reassure him.

We wrapped up with the food, Kayla and I washed the dishes while the boys were choosing the type of movie to watch and we both settled to watch Everything Everything

Its already five in the evening and we have to be heading home already but I'm already feeling attached to this place.

"Should we call aunt to tell her you are having a sleepover here or we'll head home"

Kayla asked me looking sympathetic toward me.

"I'm not sure if she'll agree, it'll be just a waste of time"

"You haven't even tried but you are already running into conclusion, I'm gonna call her now"

she took her phone off the table and started dialing her number but I snatched the phone from her hand

"No, I've got this I kinda know mum"

"wait, babe, what if you just let Kayla handle her, I'm sure she'll come around and let you stay the night outside"

I knew Kayla wasn't gonna drop the subject so I handed back her phone

"Okay, fine but we shouldn't have our hopes high"

"its okay Kay, let's try our luck"

To my disbelief Mum agreed just like that.

we spent the night watching movies,catching up and playing weird games.

I don't know how I slept but in the morning I found myself on the bed and I can't remember going to sleep, I'm sure KB carried me.

The experience I've had with KB so far is really Serene and I couldn't wish to have this memories with someone else .

We took our breakfast and headed back home at around twelve in the afternoon.

The hardest part is when he said goodbye, I wished I could go back to when he came to pick me up but sometimes things don't always go as planned or as we wish they would.
